Ever been a champion that fought in 5 decades? Recovered from a potentially career ending loss whereby he quit, only to win a title at MW well past his prime?

Oh and did I mention that he is the greatest lightweight of all time?

To diminish his resume is simply a crime.

crime?? you can say that about Pacman who beat better guys than Duran did!!!!!! What is the crime saying a fighter is overrated? Are we here to praise Duran and be in denial or say the truth?? As others have said he beat one great fighter. Where is the crime in saying a fact???? Pacman would not be stopped like this by Hearns!!

Duran was not right against Hearns. He had to come down about 40 pounds to make 154.

How would you know that? Pac would be much smaller than this guy and this kind of ending would not only be possible, it is most likely gonna end this way.

The crime is overrating a fighter who does not have the resume!!!he beat BArkley and not Hagler!!! He beat Moore and not Hearns or Benitez!

Why are you talking about Pacquiao?

    Seriously.

And you are mis-informed and uneducated if you believe that Duran's career is based on one win. If you actually looked into his career rather than hate him, then I might listen as to why you believe he is overrated. At this point you sound like the common factory made ESB "*******"

Pacquiao was already knocked the **** out like that. Hearns would beat the living **** out of any version of Pacquiao.

Sure he was not right. Hearns was a great fighter and Duran is never right when he fights a great fighter. He then loses and says he was not right. lol Duran also said he didnt train for Leonard or Benitez and stopped training for hagler 3 weeks before that fight!!! Excuses! Excuses! Excuses !

Manny is not going to fall for this move Hearns makes of jabbing to the body and throwing on top when he is trapped on the ropes!!! Manny is too smart for that!!!

Ernesto Marcel. Ken Buchanan. De Jesus. Hector Thompson. Ray Lampkin. Edwin Viruet. Carlos Palomino. SRL. Cuevas. Moore. Hagler (had it been a 12 round fight he would have won. not to mention that Hagler is a MW beast, and Duran went the full 15 unlike other beasts like Hearns or Mugabi.). Iran Barkley.

Excellent resume, Im also missing many names. And of course you havent heard of some of them because they werent American.
