Cameron calling Tua was a publicity stunt at the time, Tua didn't respond til several months later. Cameron obviously had something that interested Tua.....the following of a heap of local people. However, a fight with Tua should be one to avoid if possible for the Cameron camp, they were doing ok without Tua gatecrashing the party whether they called him or not!?
Tua is absolutely finished as a top level heavyweight. I'd be surprised if he ever fights again and if he does fight again I doubt its against anyone of signifigance. Tua's best case scenario is to win a few fights over weak opposition until a nice payday fight comes along. Sadly, a lot of Tua's career has been wasted.
I think he will beat Cameron, but I'm not optimistic about his career anymore. At his age, to take such a long layoff is just prohibitive, specially when he had good oportunities to fight in Ukraine and in California against Arreola. Maybe he can still make the top 10 HWs list, but getting a belt doesn't seem likely at this point.
chin maybe. heart?!!! if he had heart the mu****er would at least train! he owed himself and his fans better but he didnt have it in him. let him eat his spam and kalua pig, he dont have the heart to be champ and never did.
I see where you're coming from about the heart issue, but I guess we differ on the definition of it. Don't get heart mixed with discipline. Damn, that was a good comeback!!!
heart has absolutely nothing to discipline. discipline comes when you have dedication. dedication comes from heart bro.
If he were ever going to do anything he would already have done it or he would be screaming up the charts as we speak, I guess Tuamans best performances these days are regulated to awesome displays of might at the dinner table.
ho boy. i got lost in what i was trying to say. i guess its all relative for most, but not for tua. if you read the whiskey thread in the lounge, you'll see that im well on my way of getting unemployed shitty right now.
