he should start fighting more often so we can get a good hold of what' sleft in his tank. a tua-peter fight will be good i think

needs to be more active..being out for around two years(since the cerrone fox fight) does not help at all...he has no chance IMO..he might score a win over a ranked Cameron(even though the exact date of this fight is in question as its going to be pushed back to who knows when) but then take 8 months off after that.

A Tua anybody fight would be good I think, I think too if hes fit he beats Peter unconscious anytime.

Its Tuas motivation is a problem...after a June6 cancellation to a later date (a genuine injury with Cameron) I see Tuas wanting it deflate a bit.
Overhauling Camerons No1 New Zealand following was the draw, a postponement could mean a training respite unless he has a replacement for June??? A replacement should be up in the rankings prerequisite to Tuas sophistication to make it a legit return after 18+months out!

A motivated conditioned and perceivably current Shane Cameron may just upset the Tuaman.. against popular odds!? Cameron wanted this one (I believe it) while he was in good stead following his recent successes, now the hand injury has spiked his drink.. but I expect (knowing him) that his resolution may be stronger and his desire to beat Tua is very real, and could on the basis of 'who wants it' prove to be the upset!?
Rumour has it that Shane wants to go out on a blaze of glory in retirement while his mentors wish for him to persevere in England regardless of the outcome of *Fight of the century*. Thus the anger from Cameron at the injury holdup!

Sick of hearing about Tua these days. Hate to say it but I think he should just retire.

I'd love to see him active and getting in the mix, but he's basically wasted most his opportunities to make some good $ in a weak division.

The will he or won't he thing ... is worse than reading about David Haye and all his bull****.

If Tua does something in the next few months that'd be great ... but chances are nothing will go down and these same types of threads will be getting posted a year from now.

absolutely agree Kostya, thats why I set this thread up, to gain opinion. Tua is a sack of misery with 'will he or wont he' which seems to end in disappointment to anyone remotely interested in him. But I still prefer him to that yabber mouth Haye!!!:smoke

Tua does not seem to have the desire anymore. He makes all the right noises but no follow through, which is unfortunate because he could have been something special if he had have stayed motivated.

Maybe it's the truth Shamrock, Tua was "smoking" back then. Anybody that engaged a prime Tua in a fight was losing, that's a fact. Lewis run for 12 rds and comfortably outpointed the tuaman but Lewis had a great boxing brain when he chose to use it.
I think now Tua's best days are behind him and he's looking to ingratiate himself with the New Zealand people by winning a fight with Cameron. Is Tua back living in NZ?, maybe thats why is is chasing the fight with cameron so keenly.

Thats quite plausable Ardy coming from where you are, and thanks. And yes Tua has been back in NZ some years now, and I think you're right about his current pursuit.

He's blown his last big opportunity, i don't think anything like that will come up again. I think it's safe to say that Tua's figthing for easy money, and not risking his health against the higher ranked contender's. Maybe he's satisfied with taking out bums, so he can increase his ko ratio on his resume...
