Wtf are you talking about? I had it 8-4 Horn in a very close fight.

With all due respect IB, I also thought Murata won clearly. It was competitive, but not particularly close IMHO.

I get what you're saying IB, but personally I thought it was a textbook example of the oft cited you can have a competitive match that's scored 120-108 scenario. I can't see how anyone could give N'Dam more the 3 or 4 rounds in the match tops.

Fair enough, I'll give it another watch. If you look back in the RBR thread I was sort of half-watching it and throwing in a rough sketch round description here and there, but I wasn't actively scoring along. It just appeared to be a dead ass replica of the Zhuravskiy robbery, except with HNN putting up a MUCH better fight than Danyo did.

IN EXCHANGE, though, I want everybody that hasn't to watch Danyo vs. Zhuravskiy and report back. At worst, N'Jikam vs. Murata can only be the 2nd worst robbery so far of 2017 (if my conclusion indeed ends up being like the rest of the herd's that it was actually one)

Danyo fights like a poor man's HNN and Zhuravskiy basically like Murata, and Z kicked Danyo' s was yet "lost".

I did the RBR with you, and yeah it was equally if not more horrid, I lean more.

Agreed, Danyo vs Zhuravskiy was just as bad a robbery, if not worse, in my eyes.

I think the reason Murata vs N'Dam gets more attention is that Murata was a highly rated undefeated gold medalist fighting at home. Zhuravskiy is a C level fighter.

I haven't actually seen the whole fight yet. I picked N'Dam first time round though, owing to never being THAT impressed with Murata and knowing that N'Dam is usually a tricky guy to look good against. Murata will win the rematch but he won't stop him.

    D vs Z was worse.

    Really doesn't need a rematch.

Why is it bad to overturn bad decisions again?

Because it could have the dangerous consequence of discouraging people from rigging fights?

I thought it might have to do with the gambling industry hating the confusion that would cause, but they seem to have no problem declaring fights "No contest" ex post facto. So, I don't know.

See that's what bothered me, is people running around screaming out hyperboles like "robbery of the century" when it wasn't even the worst of the week. Those who only follow big names have no business making declarative statements about the sport en masse.

I'm receptive to CST's idea that it was a case of "competitive throughout, but not close on the scorecard numerically", because that does happen. I'll have to actually watch it to score it, which I was too busy to do live. From what I did see, though, it was loads more competitive than D vs. Z, so having people claim it was the worst decision ever while being ignorant of the atrocious one that preceded it just because it was lower profile and not on their radar (even though many of us had been imploring everyone for days to check it out, falling on deaf ears).

There shouldn't be any correlation between how famous or hyped you are and how severe a robbery against you is perceived to be. The unfairness of a decision ought to be ranked on its own merits, without regard for celebrity.

Good shout. Missed that one too... N'Dam and Murata I missed due being on a week+ road trip, you wouldn't believe my shock waiting in line for the Millennium force at 10 AM to see that Murata got robbed. For me the worst robbery of recent memory(that I've witnessed) was McDonnell/Solis. That was an absolute DISGRACE. Missed some of the other bad robberies of 2016 and most of the bad ones this year.
