Personally I would say he did destroy Lazcano.

The amount of clean, hard shots he landed to the head and body was amazing.

Lazcano was on wobbly for legs for more than half the fight.

Because he has stated on more then one occasion he is stopping at 140- so if cotto wants to kill himself to get down to 140 the fight aint going to happen so that point is null and void.

Null and void like all your posts :patsch

Mate you are getting owned all over this thread why don't you just admit you have pure hatred for hatton and stop banging on and making stuff up.

You are acting like a clown :bart

please go back and watch round 10 (shoe lace incident) and tell me how hatton was going to be stopped

Yeah he got hit by a slow ass check left hook and was holding on for dear life.. He was holding on Lazcano so much it looked like he was his girlfriend! Then he clearly stumbles over to the corner and leans against it taking a long ass rest then sticks his foot out to his personal butler uhh i mean ref and the ref goes and tells him to go to the corner.. Is Ricky the ref? Looks like its the case with him tellin the ref what to do. You're the one that's looking like a clown when its all obviously on video but you keep claiming it didnt happen.

I`m from Ricky Hattons hometown BUT even i`m not that impressed by Hattons fights. But if that was a ko bodypunch in the Tszyu fight Hatton would`ve got ko`d, come on wisen up a bit.Cortez allowed Hatton to do that close quarter stuff against Castillo, but not Mayweather."I`m firm but fair"**** that he was having a laugh. But i know of course Floyd Money man would`ve beat the **** out of him anyway.

You don't have the faintest idea what a check hook is, you didn't actually watch the Hatton fight and you're still not answering the question :nut

The referee trod on Hatton's laces.

Stop telling people to watch the video when you never even saw this happen and keep trying to say he stumbled because he got hurt. :nut

Ricky fans complaining about Joe Cortez is the very definition of IRONY.

Or maybe stupidity. One of 'em, anyhow.

I disagree. He and Hatton are very much alike, imho. They may fight differently, come from different countries, and are nothing really alike.

    But **** him.

yea if there's a clinch then Hatton can pretty much nod at the ref whenever he wants a break.

its funny because as bad as Cortez was with the Mayweather fight, the refs in the Tszyu and Lazcano fights were much worse. 2 wrongs (3 in this case) don't make a right.

I think that with an unbiased ref Hatton could have lost a UD instead of a TKO against Floyd, but he would also have lost to Kostya Tszyu and looked alot worse against Lazcano.
