Wasn't right? You damn right he wasn't, once he stepped in the ring with the best boxer in the world he knew he was in deep trouble. PBF over Hatton was the easiest mega fight to call in a long time.

 

Exactly I remember that **** as well people not knowing that PBF is one of the most mentally strong fighters in the sport thinking Hatton was in PBF's head...hilarious. When actually it was the other way around it was Hatton who was acting out of character.

 

yes i firmly predicted mayweather to win,but if you pay close attention to the four episodes mayweather is clearly more laxed and in control of himself.hatton also said he let the bull**** point deduction get to his head and thats why helost the fight in his opinion,but is a great champion supposed to get affected this easily(no).it is also worth noting that the significance of a point deduction is overrated,it wont make a difference unless one judge has it a draw.

 

Man Hatton has said himself he's only fighting for another year or so.

Oh that **** is true.:yep But bottom line hatton started out the blocks very fast. He didn't look sluggish, he basically ran across the ring and tried to work the body. As the rounds went by flyod just picked him apart. Now Hatton is really showing his class by blaming the ref, dirty fighting (coming from hatton???? WTF) the ring girls, tainted water, the Queen of England, his dog, the ringposts... whatever you can think of.

 

good post....and does anyone think Hatton may have contracted "Lacy's Disease" from the defeat??? Or will he be back to his old self again at 140??

 

Props to Hatton in taking the fight i say. I think he looked ok in the first, not sluggish but that ref kept breaking up the fight needlessly. Anyone who says Cortez is not crooked needs to check his post fight statement. PBF put in a top performance, not taking anything away from that..lets see him fight quintana

 

Hatton did appear to lose too much weight too quickly but then he does have a lot too shift every time! As soon as you saw the difference in size and physical appearance between him and mayweather at the weigh-in you knew there was no way he was gonna be able to bully floyd around. Calzaghe also enjoys himself betwen training camps but Hatton goes overboard. Can't be good shifting so many newly acquired chins in such a short spaceof time

 

Why would we want PBF to face Q? Q wasn't considered a top WW until he got a title... there is an age old saying that comes to mind 'the sun shines on a dogs ass sometimes' and this rings true often in boxing. Q, Baldo, buster douglas, DLH etc.

 

Totally right, his diet is crazy and its catching up with him. I think he will struggle at LWW and will not be effective at WW either. I think its time for Hatton to retire. If he cleans up his division then hats off.

Do you really believ Quintana has a chance to beat PBF? Quintana is very underrated but all of a sudden people are reaching.

 

This thread is bull****. Ricky nevre looked anything other then a fighter preparing for a big fight. Floyd never got in his head. He got his ass kicked by a better fighter. Lets all move on.
