Hatton won on points, Collazo won the fight.

I thought Collazo was the better fighter and won his rounds with more authority down the stretch but just didnt do enough, in enough rounds to get the points decision.
    Thats boxing sometimes.

I'm sure Collazo would have liked to see a rematch too :hey

    Exactly what I said earlier.

But, it doesn't matter - unless you totally dominate a round or KD the opponent, you get 10 points and he gets 9!

If it was an amateur bout, perhaps Collazo would have done it - then again Hatton landed more punches!

Interesting to note that a poll done here 2 days after the fight(with a couple of hundred people voting) had Hatton 70% to Collazo 30% . It's seems time has changed opinion .

I thought Collazo did really good late but Hatton had built up too much of an early lead

Hatton lost that fight, Collazo let a golden oppurtunity slip by, he had Hatton all but out and then he let him get away. Im still pissed about this horrible decision

i know a KD is a KD, and i am not faulting ricky for winning the fight Via that KD on my card.

i just think that realisitcally ricky caught Lius cold as he was moving out of range and hoooked him off balance, luis when he watched that fight back, if he scored it with a open heart would be angry he let himself open to that flash KD, it lost him the fight in my book.

(same as rick was prolly watching the fight at home thinking "ffs where has my foot work gone?"
