RJJ, Floyd, and Manny are by far and away the greatest 3 fighters of the last 15 years/ generation. Hatton got in there with two of them to test his skills but came up short.
I don't see how either are a level below hatton, they have fought better competition at 140 than he has, even if they aren't undefeated. I would have Holt and Torres as favorites if they fought Hatton in the last 2 years.
Hatton isn't stupid. He's not going to turn down 8 figure paydays even it means he gets his head beaten in.
Hatton beat the no 1 ranked guy at 140 in his last fight and beat the champion there in Tszue. Holt and Torres have done nothing of note - we are all still waiting!!
**** Hatton. I spent $50 + tax on that fight. What does he do? He goes out there, looks like he didn't even train and gets his ass knocked out in two rounds. So now I'm out $50+ that I wasted on that fight. I feel really bad for all those Hatton fans that actually believed all those bull**** excuses as to why he lost to Mayweather. They got all their hopes up and many of them even spent a bunch of money to come to the states to watch him fight. At the end of the day, the sport revolves around the fans. Hatton cheated the fans by going out there unprepared and getting his ass handed to him like that. I'm sorry, but I don't believe I need to respect Hatton for that type of effort.
So you are actually trying to say Malinaggi, the guy who arguably lost to Ndou twice was better at 140 than Witter, Torres, and HOlt at 140? Give me a break man, seriously stop making excuses for your boy not fighting the best in his own division.
You have no reason to think he was really unprepared. Hatton actually entered camp in decent condition. Getting KO'd in 2 doesn't mean he wasn't prepared. Just means he was KTFO early. Or Pac is really that good.
Malignaggi has done nothing of note. His best accomplishment is not getting as beat as bad as some thought he would against Cotto. His best win was a controversial decison against Ngoudjo. Malignaggi is garbage. Hatton and his fans need to stop hanging their hats on the fact that Ring Magazine incexplicably decided to rank Paulie as the no.1 contender at 140. Hatton doesn't give a damn about fighting the no.1 contender. If he did, he would've fought Mayweather when he was at 140, or Cotto, or Witter. Hatton cares about padding his record and getting paid.
Even though it's true he made quite a lot fighting those two but he could have also continued to fight in England and sell out arenas for a long time. With the situation he's in now there will be interest in his fights but not as big as before. He WANTED to fight both guys and WANTED to achieve greatness or rise as high as #1 on P4P rankings.
So this has nothing to do with PAC being the great boxer he is. Your just pissed your guy came up short. He looked like **** cause he was fighting one of the best. When he took apart Paulie people were all over Hatton on how imporved he was. How he could fight a quick smooth boxer. He face a guy many consider teh p4p and all of the sudden he's **** and your **** cause you spent 50 dollars just to see him get KOed. :rofl:rofl Now I understand the hate for Hatton. $50
Pac is an excellent fighter, no doubt about that. I can't knock him because of Hatton's shortcomings. However, Hatton looked completely unprepared out there. Hatton should've figured that Pac would be looking to land that straight left as well as the left hook considering how open Hatton is to those punches. Despite this, Hatton still ran in there with no head movement, dropping his hands, and basically begging Pac to knock him out.
