Underrated by some, rightly rated by most, overrated by few. Hatton is possibly a future HOF'er. He is undefeated at 140lb, one of the best resumes in there ever and has a great win over Kostya. Also IMO apart from Castillo he gave PBF the most trouble too.

Hype? No way. Hatton has always tried to fight the best available opposition. For that he gets much respect from me. If you look at his record he fought the who's who at 140. He also demanded Frank Warren get him the tzyu fight. I know this thread isn't about Calzaghe but he didn't demand a thing from Warren. He was happy to defend the worthless WBO strap against weak competition, on the other hand hatton went after THE champ. Calzaghe's undefeated but if he fought top competition in their prime he'd have at least one loss. Anyway Hatton looked okay against Malignaggi, I think he has enough in the tank to go to war with pacman.
