It is cheating, kind of. You're basically trying to gain more weight than your opponent to have an advantage. The purpose behind it is cheating.
Shut up dude seriously its part of the game big ****ing deal~ seriously its not cheating there are no rules that say otherwise.
:huh So, is working out to gain more muscle mass cheating? As thats trying to gain an advantage over your oponent.
meh, I don't see 5-6 pounds being that big a difference, unless, the ref lets Hatton hug Pac all night.
10 pounds is the norm what a fighter puts on after the weigh in, an additional four pounds is hardly cheating, its normal to put on that 10 with a couple of meals and some water easily~ so I dont understand why its called cheating when you have about 3 or 4 meals between the weigh in and the fight.
Just because there's no rule saying "YOU CAN NOT INSERT BRICKS IN YOUR GLOVES" doesn't mean it's not cheating. Bazooka: "I'd rather a fighter cheat to make the fight exciting than see a clean but boring match." :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl
No. But the difference is, two guys agree to fight at a specified weight. If both fighters are going to try to get an advatage with the weight, whats the purpoe of even agreeing on a specified weight?
yes im rellatively new to boxing. ive followed it briefly when Prince Nazeem was doing his showboat stuff but was never really into it hardcore untill recently its been amazing (last 6 months) lots of cool fights.
