LOL...you missed the whole point DH didnt break no records with Mayorga...why?????????????????????????????? Becuase Oscar is a big ass draw....BUT...FLOYD promoted his ass off playing the bad guy role too...especially with the 24/7...come on...dot be so blind...we know Oscar is the biggest draw...but he didnt break those records in other fights...it took A FLOYD MAYWHETHER to break those records......im just saying Floyd played his part to.

So Hatton is a bigger draw in the US now? WOW!

    Nope.

The reason the fight made so much money is because Oscar fought #1 p4p, doesnt matter who that #1 p4p is, its Oscar vs #1 p4p and thats what sells.

The fight was being promoted as Oscar vs some guy who is the best in the world, the p4p #1 and Oscar trying to beat him and become the new p4p #1. Mayorga was being promoted as Oscar trying to win the WBC belt and beat a loud mouth. Its all about Oscar and what is at stake that counts, not so much what other name he is fighting.

Come on man, Hopkins, SSM and Tito was pretty high on that list too when they fought Oscar...

24/7 was the reason for the high numbers, and anybody who watched that show knows Floyd and his dysfunctional family carried that show. I saw Samuel L. Jackson, on Letterman, talk about how Floyd Sr. wanted $2 million for coaching Oscar to "beat up his son", so Floyd played a big part in making it such a success...

And as you said yourself Floyd is #1 p4p, so he will be a big seller regardless...

What records has Floyd broke in terms of buy's on his own??
He's never broke 400,000 buy's outside of DLH and DLH did a mil against Mayorga:think :think :think :think :think

Guarantee that if Hatton fights PBF in Vegas? The Hatton fans will OUTNUMBER the Floyd fans at least 2 to 1:good

Hatton has a bigger and more loyal following than Floyd and there's NO QUESTION about that.

yes he will be a big seller IF he fights big names and its promoted right and thats because he is #1 p4p. Ricky Hatton has a big fan base not because he is p4p but because he is Ricky Hatton. He can fight a tune up and he will generate interest. Floyd if he loses #1 p4p status and fights a tuneup the arena will be half empty.

    More like his wet dream.

If PBF has nightmares they probably contain appearances by Miguel Cotto.

Ricky Hatton has a big fan base because he's English, his fan base is his fellow countrymen basicly. He doesn't have a fan base in the US, if he did he would be on PPV like Cotto or Floyd...

Well, since PBf is such a pompous *******, Hatton will inherit the US fans that hate PBF:good

As for being ENGLISH and PPV?? HBO made a 3 fight deal to provide Hatton EXPOSURE stateside that would allow US fans to see Hatton and the PBF vs Hatton PPV numbers to do well.

:patsch Yes you are right Hatton is still only on the "get exposure" level, thanks for proving my point...

And you are also right when you say Floyd has a lot of haters, haters who pay money hoping to see Floyd lose. Which also makes Floyd a big seller...

    Dont think so ...
    Hatton is no big deal.
Ya he is tough at 140.
    Still cant box.
    Not a bad wrestler.
    Floyd is the best.
Oscar couldnt hit him in the ass.
Floyd did what he wanted with him.
Hatton doesnt go 3 rounds with Oscar.
If he really and truly believes he is that good, then let him fight Oscar,

Mayweather will whip him easy.. Just like Mayweather said.. That's EASY money.. Hatton hasnt fought any slick boxers most of his career.. And when he fought a semi slick boxer in Luis Collazo we all seen what happened...
