Don't forget how Hatton deals with southpaws too - terribly. Collazo abused him.

wow this should be a great one. hatton's in his best fighting weight and manny should be more at home at 140 than 147. the styles will make this one interesting, but what they do have in common is their warrior mentality. i think hatton might be the stronger one here and i'm sure he has more one punch power than pacman, which pacman has never dealt with before. but with pac's awkwardness, he will be hard to hit. i think manny might be too fast and beat hatton to the punch, but at the same time he'll avoid getting into a war with hatton the first rounds and just dart in and out like he did with the bigger oscar. of courst, hatton's not taller than manny, but still the heavier man. hatton is not a slowpoke himself, but i think manny is the more focused of the 2. truth is hatton is dangerous for anyone at 140

Since when has Pac not fought a dangerous opponent? Hatton is no different as his other matches. They have a chance of beating him. That is what makes Pac a fight fan's fighter.

Pacquiao is going to be using Hatton's head like a speedball. He can't move his head. How is he going to deal with a southpaw that is so quick? He can't even deal with average southpaws convincingly, and we already know his defensive lapses against handspeed.

He will be decimated in this fight. I expect it to stop on accumulation, whether Hatton gets hurt or whether he's pulled out I don't know.

Don't both guys walk into the ring around 148-151? They're the same height too.

I don't think there will be much of a size difference.

Agree.........he loves to fight but I just don't think he has the chin that Hatton does. I look for a KO in the later rounds.

    totally agree.

Hatton hes going to get stopped the time he will last will depend on the amount of holding the ref will allow him to do.

have you looked at a pac-hatton tale of the tape lately? pac has an advantage in almost all physical categories there. hatton's only advantage will probably be a 4-lb weight difference in fighting weight.

and jmm is a much more dangerous fight than hatton and pac has already fought him twice. i'm definitely not saying that hatton is not dangerous. pac after all is a warrior and has already fought many dangerous fighters in his career.

I think Hatton will get a lesson. He couldn't hit Mayweather, and Pacquiao's basically as elusive and quick as Mayweather, but throws more. Pacquiao's constantly bobbing and weaving, moving side-to-side, darting in and out, throwing feints etc. Hatton just can't deal with fighters as tricky as that.

This is going to be a VERY cpmpetitive fight,I think Hatton wins by stoppage sometime from the 6 round onwards.Iam a BIG FAN of Manny but styles make fights and Hatton is way better than given credit for, allso if you basing your predictions on Pacs last fight then your a fool,Oscar is old and past it,making the weight allso killed him.Taking nothing from Manny but he beat a ghost in his last fight.

hmm... styles make fights, eh? if hatton were a master boxer like jmm then he would have a good chance against pac. but hatton is a limited puncher/brawler vs. pac who is now a boxer/puncher being more patient, measured and calculating in his fighting as seen in his last 3 fights vs. jmm, diaz and dlh. but i guess stranger things have happened in the ring so who knows.

Hatton is a dangerous fight for Pacquiao but Hatton's defence gives out a lot to be exploited...He bleeds easily and don't be surprized if he's cut early from Pacman's precise punches..Mayweather Sr. can't make him that much better than he is at this point !
