    i`ve met him a few times and each and every time he`s been sound.no ego or anything so it doesn`t ring true with me.are you sure he even heard you over the din of the alehouse?maybe the guy he was with was a ***** and ricky wasn`t aware?

    Don't worry mate, ignore these chavs. The responses you got was to be expected here. Problem is, when you come to a boxing forum, and create a thread like this, you will get hammered for it to some extent. Take your point though. I mean after the Mayweather fight he wanted to thank the fans for their support in a home coming fight with Juan Lazcano (who???) by asking them to shell out on PPV money! After spending mega bucks to go support him out there in the states.

    So yeah, a real man of the people our Ricky.

    I know a couple of people who got pictures with him, he didn't mind at all. He was probably releived he wasn't getting pestered in said bar and you caught him at a bad time. Should have bought him a pint of guinness first :good

    I know this is about Hatton but, I was on stag night in Cardiff in 2004. We saw Calzaghe in a bar and 99% of the people were oblivious to who he was, we asked for a picture and he was a good sport and we had a picture. Then he went to the bar and tried to push in front a girl to get served and she told him to **** off. Very funny. He ha a long wait to get served.
