Let's apply your selective logic of discrediting fighters.

Your premise: Pacquiao defeated only either B fighters, weight-drained or past-their-best fighters.

Marquez is better than Pacquiao because he outboxed him.

But, Floyd defeated Marquez convincingly, so he definitely is better.. no, the best.

But wait.. There were 6 fighters who defeated Floyd, and they were just amateurs. So, Floyd is definitely not the best fighter. The 6 amateurs fighters are.

No sense? That's how your brain works. No sense.

  2. i have not been talking about floyd, YOU guys have, i have not mentioned floyd fighting marquez once! im talking about pacquiaos overated resume here not the fact that as you stated mayweather completely dominated marquez?:patsch

Old??? Hes the same age as Pacquiao!

When are these measurements taken by the way, because if its as the weigh in, then it doesnt mean squat.

Hatton looked like a skeleton on the weighing scales for his fights. One he rehydrated he looked adifferent man.

Hatton was the heavier, stronger fighter who was considered no.1 in his division.

Even take away the size thing, Hatton was undefeated in 45 fights at LWW,was rated no.1 and was lineal champ and was fresh off a dominating victory over the no.2 fighter in the division.

    What more do you want?

  4. perhaps a convincing win over collazo remove the total domination and ko loss to mayweather the average performances prior to the mayweather bout?

Collazo is a tough welterweight, not many people have easy fights against him.

Mayweather dominating him takes nothing away in my eyes. He was game but mayweather was just too good. Much like hes much too good for anyone between 140 and 147.

    Average performances?

    The devestating stoppage of Castillo?
    Dominating Urango?
Retiring the then champ Kostya Tszyu?

He isnt going to murder everyone!

He was the No.1 in his division, lineal champ, fresh off a dominating win over the no.2 in his division, and Pacquiao knocked him out in the second round.

    VERY impressive win.

I claim that Pacquiao's victory over Hatton is so great. Now, what can you do about it?

Anyway, you keep insisting that Pacquiao is bigger than Hatton. For the sake of argument, granting without agreeing that he was the bigger man, are you now claiming that Pacquiao KO Hatton because he was the bigger man?

Listen, Pacquiao knocked out the number 1 ranked LWW in 2 rounds.

Hatton had just dominated the number 2 in the division. He was the lineal champ.
Hatton was clearly not "over the hill" as he was the same age as Pacquiao and coming off one of his most impressive wins.

Nothing you can say will change those facts.

KOing the number 1 fighter in a division in 2 rounds is a great result.
    End thread.

Not as impressive as the superman cheap punch and unanimous decision with shaky 2nd round against a young hungry lion and still prime, jittery slick fighter.
