Hatton promotions legalises boxing in Bury*

*Well, sort of!!

Apparently boxing has been banned in Bury since Tyson bit off Holyfields ear and tomorrows Quigg vs. Kostin card is the first professional card in Bury in 13 years.

I remember hearing about this local law a little while back. Bringing back boxing where it was banned? An all new...:-(

 

Ricky Hatton. Man of the people, righter of wrongs, friend of boxing......

 

Betrayer of what was once local justice! How dare he bring this on the people of Bury.

 

Bury council are fannys. Banning boxing cos Tyson beat Holyfield's ear in bloody Vegas

 

You can just imagine all the old ****ers in the council "tutting" about it and passing a law while not giving a **** about the local housing, pot holes, street lights etc.

 

And Hatton has come out against this anti-violence legislation?

Bury of all places, they've been a city of leaf eating pacifists for a decade, a new low.

 

What exactly did Holyfield's ear and the actions of Mike Tyson 5000 miles away have to do with Bury? :huh

 

Bury emerged during the Industrial Revolution as a mill town centred on textile manufacture.

 

I live in Bury. Note to my local council; quit dicking about with boxing and get some work done.
