Agreed rules are rules he should have to make weight. But the amount of weight classes is ridiculous and dillutes the quality of fights.

The threat is fair enough. Castillo has to make weight. Make the weight or suffer the consequences. Castillo did it TWICE. You can't even make that **** up.

I dont know about that one honestly Corrales made it through 12 rounds with Clottey while getting beat down the entire time, while Collazo was rocking Hatton in the later rounds of their fight, now sure Collazo is the bigger man, but he is not a big banger.

True but Chico hit the deck plenty of times by lightweights, Hatton tooks Tszyus best rights in the face...:think

I am sure that he hit the deck more than he should have due to him keeping himself at a lower weight than what he should have been at, he stayed down there for years and that will effect your button

I think that was more a case of exhaustion than chin

Fair enough, all you need to know about Chicos chin is his first fight with Castillo, if it were glass he wouldnt have made it half way through that fight not the way they were throwing bombs

I'm looking forward to this fight, with niether fighter as my favorite....but Castillo has to make weight....there's no reason that Hatton should risk his health and his undefeated record in order to pick up the slack for someone who didn't do their part.

If Castillo doesn't make weight he should never be able to fight again, let alone against Hatton.

Castillo should move to 147 and fight Clottey like Corrales did if he can't make 140. ;)

I dunno, maybe I'm a hardass but I agree with Hatton. If you sign on to fight at 140 then you gotta come in at 140. This is not fun and games, it's your f'n job. You gotta be a professional about things. Lord knows you're getting paid enough. I know I can't half-ass my job like that. It's inexcusable.

But in the same token, I don't understand how 3 lbs. is an insurmountable advantage in every weight class except Heavy. In Heavy you can outweigh your opponent by a full hundred lbs. and everythings ok, but if you try to come into a cruiserweight bout at 203 you gotta call the thing off. I tell you, that's some real circus **** if you ask me.

I presumed that there was a weight limit agreement.

    Obviously I was wrong.

Hatton better win this fight against a past-prime Castillo fighting out of his most effective weight class.
