What annoys me about Ricky are his stupid jokes, constant clinching, and lack of discipline in between fights. You can hate Mayweather all you want, that's none of my concern. My only point, is that people should be able to root for who they want without having their character questioned. I have no idea what type of person Mayweather really is. I don't root for him becaus of his personality(even though I do find him to be funny and entertaining). I root for him, because enjoy watching him fight.
Regardless of decency and integrity of the fighters, its nice to see a sensible discussion and the acceptance of those who have posted so far that both men have a chance to win this one
This is well and great except the fact that parts of it are utter bull****. Sure, Floyd was on dancing with the stars, and sure, Hatton is working harder than ever for this fight. But by highlighting the one after the other, you make it seem as if Floyd is not a consummate professional. The kind who has never ever showed up in anything other than absolutely tip top shape for a fight, even when he was a huge huge favorite. The kind who trains hours and hours and hours every day, and has almost never displayed anything less than 100% of his ability in a fight. When was the last time Floyd didn't think he would win easily? He ALWAYS thinks he will win easily, and I bet part of the reason he ALWAYS thinks he will win easily is because he knows that he is ALWAYS in amazing amazing shape. Floyd spars for 15 minute rounds, it is very unlikely that he comes in at anything other than absolutely amazingly prepared. And that is a good thing, even for Hatton fans. Can you imagine the discredit to Hatton if Mayweather were to come in soft, and get tired after the first 4 or 5 rounds? If Hatton fans want Hatton to win, let them want him to win the way that would be best for him, against an uninjured peak in shape Mayweather.
Here's an interesting fact: People who hate Floyd have the tendency to reply to all post whith Floyd's name it it. They even start posts dedicated to hating him. They even go as far as using pictures of Floyd getting punched as their avatar, and use derogatory names for Floyd as their name. And I bet that 80% of the people who watch this fight will be people who can't stand Floyd for whatever reason. He's playing all y'all. The more you hate the more you watch, the more he gets paid. And when he kicks Ricky's ass, he'll have even more haters and the people who already hate him will have even more reason to hate him. He did this to the mexican fans, he's doing it to the british fans, and he'll probably do it to the puerto rican fans next.
whatever happens it will be a great fight and a lot closer than people expect. I will be rooting for hatton, but mayweather is a great fighter and I just wish we see that side of him a bit more i mean after the banter he was quite plesent when talking at the manchester press confrence and then went back to the arrogant arsehole but why? Also for the hatton haters this will not be a gatti beat down.
I don't think he's saying that i think he saying that i am still the person i am even though i am succesfull. I agree sometimes u know what is first line will be. anyway it will be a cracking fight I hope it will have the same passion as the benn eurbank double! Why Mclennan where are u from i know what u mean i live on the outskirts of manchester as u can see by my location Oldham. So i hate both footballl teams in manchester.
I did not say that Floyd wasn't a consumate professional did I? I merely stated some points and suggested that he could be in trouble if he doesn't see Hatton as a serious threat. I'm not saying Floyd will but only that based on some factors (which I highlighted) it might be a possibility.
I am rooting for Floyd and I know Hatton fans are going to get excited early at Hattons activity but that wont last long at all and Floyd has a game plan and can execute it no matter what hatton does b/c as he said and what we all know Hatton is a smart, good, but very limited fighter. He has one way that is effective and no plan B. That one way usually gets the other fighter frustrated but Floyd knows what to do in a clinch or when somebody is trying to hug him. He is very effective at blocking sneak shots and actually getting off first which is his MO since day one. The hatton fight will be no different.
Do you and the rest of people who keep regurgitating this absurd meme really believe it? 1. Hatton is supposedly training to come into the fight in his JWW form, 2. Floyd isn't a legit 147 lber. Mayweather entered the ring all of 2 pounds heavier for his fight at 154 against De La Hoya than he did for his fights at 140 (after rehydrating). In terms of body mass, Hatton is clearly the naturally bigger man. This has got to be one of the most **** poor excuses ever proffered for a fighter.
Yeah. Floyd now is the same floyd at 140. Now he walks around no more then 150. **** he didnt even make the 154 limit. To get down to 140 he just has to dehydrate a week before the fight like everybody else. Hatton is training down to his usual 140 weight. So in fact we are seeing the same god damned fight we would of seen. Since when does 3-4 pounds make a difference. If floyd was a big 147 guy then you have a point, but this is just bull**** hatton fan pre-excuse rhetoric. Jack asses.
When have you known PBF never in shape. It is Hatton who lets himself get out of shape after fights. I think you doing a lot of wishful thinking if you believe PBF will not be in a supreme shape. As for Hatton some of the things we defintely do know is that he can be hit, he does cut up badly, he can be put down and he does not enjoy it to the body. My prediction is that Hatton gets stopped and outclassed in this matchup. His come forward is going to be a weakness for him in this matchup.
Hatton does normally let himself go but he has had three fights this year so he does not need to lose as much as he did against urango.
