It certainly is. My friend and I go to Ieper in Belgium every year, walk the old battle lines, and then retire to the bar at 5 to raise a few glasses. When you see 17,000 graves in one cemetery or 55,000 names of soldiers with no known graves on the Menin gate...men who died within a ten mile radius of that memorial it tends to put the days events into perspective
