Hatton was the linear undisputed and undefeated WBU champion of the MEN arena near that stage!

It's a fight that should be made, Hatton has never won a WBC or WBO title.

Be a ******* I reckon, only seen Bradleys last 3 fights but doesn't look to be a backward step in either fighter. Has anyone ever hurt Bradley to the body?

Either Hatton could sign off his 140 legacy with 2 more belts and by beating the man who beat witter or a passing of the torch to bradley whilst catapulting his name into the big time. A bradley win would also make a pac fight further down the line a possibility if pac doesn't try and take on a big name at 147.

I wouldnt mind the fight, although at this stage Bradley probably isnt on Hattons radar, he needs one more good win maybe against a torres or an ortiz.

Hatton would beat Bradley in my opinion, pretty convinsingly.

I wanna see this fight..I think Hatton takes it but if Bradley does win we'd be in for something good as he'd have 2 belts plus the ring belt....

Hatton's never gonna take this fight because it sets a bad president for him. Fighting a guy who brings no viewers to the table is not good business for basically the second biggest revinue generating fighter in the game today. Bradley will definitely have to take out an Ortiz or a Cambpel, even then he'll probably still have to fight someone else. and go on a serious Hatton callout tour.

Now as far as the fight is concerned.

Bradley actually has the exact style the gives Ricky problems. So the fight could be close at times. Ricky's game is to use his foot speed (probably the best in boxing) to get close to his opponent and then he uses his excellent balance and his T-rex arms to wail away at his opponents rib cage until he says no mas. The only type of opponents that have been able to actaully steel rounds off Ricky (Hall of Famer Tzu not withstanding) are guys who can fight in the pocket, slip punches in close and counter. These two guys of course being Collazo and Floyd, which if you watch these two fights are basically carbon copies of each other the only difference being that floyd is a more acurrate explosive punches so his counter punch was much more affective then Collazo's, thus the tied turned quicker in that fight.

I know Ricky's been introuble against a few guys that could punch but these guys were merely catching him with a few good punches in those fights, they weren't actually winning rounds (Urango and Lazcano).

Unfortuently for Bradley both Collazo and Floyd needed their size to prevent Ricky from pushing them into positions for him to land his shots. Bradley does have the slip game and defence to try to execute this plan, but he is a small 40 lber and doesn't have nearly the size nor the punching power to make this work for him and thus he would probably get banged up bad and stopped late in a competitive but predictable fight.

I know some people in this thread have said think bradley would be strong enough to deal with hatton. He's strong yes but Ricky's faced and been affective against stronger guys. Like Urango. Bradley does have the stout/compact/strong body type though and perhaps that along with his inside cute-ness could make a lot of Hatton's work less effective. But even if you're able to nullify a lot of Hatton's work you still run into the same problem Collazo ran into, which lost him the fight, you still have to be able to out work Ricky or you're gonna lose the rounds anyways.

The way I look at it if Collazo, a south paw counter puncher with significant size advantages over bradley couldn't beat Ricky how is Bradley going to do it?

Hatton-Bradley would be a great fight one I would like to see should Hatton get past Pac. Bradley would give Hatton fits with his handspeed and underrated strength. This fight would be fought on the inside and make a great war possibly FOTY.

bradley showed great skill/defense/counterpunching/jab in the witter and cherry fight.

if your not impressed with bradley then you dont know the technical side of boxing...o well.

Witter Rematch would be a good fight for Bradley, I am still not totally convinced about Bradley and if he beat Witter again it would go a long way.

In case you didn't know it Holt would drop hatton as well if he hit him with that shot he dropped Bradley with in the first. It was a monster shot that landed perfectly it would have koed 90% of the boxers at 140.:deal

Witter didn't do anything in that fight to warrant a rematch it wasn't close.

i actually thought Witter beat Bradley in the last fight , Witter would beat Bradley if they fought again, Witter just didn't train for that fight, in his interviews before the Bradley fight all Witter talked about was Hatton Hatton Hatton.

Witter is Bardley's biggest victory and it was controversial, if witter couldn't make a deal with Hatton, then like Bradley is nowhere near calling Hatton out.

I think your over selling Bradley....cause I'd love to see you explain how bradley KOs hatton cause the guy punches with pillows. James toney sholder roll counter not withstanding. But there's no way he could do that all night against hatton. Maybe he knocks hatton down. But Witter and Cherry weren't hurt so much as stunned. There's no way this guy could put a dent in hatton and thats his biggest problem against him.

to say witter had an off night is an understatement, and cherry is hardly a test, a lightweight who's only won 16 out of 24 fights and never sniffed a world title.

First off Wiiter isn't his biggest win that would be Holt. Second where did you learn how to score a fight? Bradley getting a SD in that fight was a hometown decision he should have won a UD. He dropped, countered and had Witter confused for most of the night. There is nothing in the first fight that would suggest that Witter could beat Bradley in a rematch...nothing. Quit with the excuses Witter got worked and beaten by a better boxer plain and simple.
