Totally agree. Everything Hatton can do, Cotto can do better.

The elbow was to pry off hattons ****ing bear hug you dumb clowns. Mother****ers ignore the fact that all Hatton was doing was trying to pin him against the ropes by illegal methods like hooking with the left arm. Hatton did not get into punching position he was in smothering position where nobody had room to punch. He could not get off any shots..learn boxing and realize if Hatton actually boxed that fight instead of smothering his own work and the other guy trying to grab the ropes to save time on the knockout he was going to get. Hilarious.

Cotto by TKO anywhere from 3 to 5.

    This wouldn't be competitive.

Cotto would absolutely batter Hatton and knock him out, no sweat.

i think hatton is better then some people think yes he got knocked out by floyd but i think he underestimated floyds power and acuracy thts why he was jumping into his shots leading to the left hook that sent him to the ring post but he wouldnt under estmiate cottos power and i think it would be a hard fight for both fighters and could go wither way hattons speed and footwork are underrated and could be a huge factor in the fight and how the fight ends.

How would Hatton's speed and footwork help him? Off the back foot? No. How about in close? No.

    This is a mismatch

    Exactly.

Two years ago, when they were Jr. Welterweight, Hatton would've had a real chance because, if for no other reason, Cotto was killing himself to make that weight. He was somewhat chinny because of that starvation (Torres ... Corley... ), and Hatton's pressure would give him hell, especially late in the fight.

But today, Cotto is a stronger, more mature boxer-puncher, and Hatton appears to be going down in terms of relevance. I suspect Cotto would destroy him, in fewer than seven rounds. :hey

i may of miss used the word huge but i think his speed would help him get his shots off quicker then cotto inclose before tieing him up or geting out of range before cotto would land his hurtful shots and hattons footwork keeping cotto from boxing the way he boxed mosely, but i could sill see hatton tireing and cotto still maybee winning bye late KO if hatton does tire, am not saying hatton will win just i dont beleive it is a missmatch by and meens
