DLH was horrible in that fight. He had maybe 2 or 3 good rounds. I scored it 8-4 in favor of Floyd. Floyd won comfortably. CErtainly not a SD.

The topicstarter might be on to something here. We might be coming back to this thread if Hatton is good enough to earn the 4-5 rounds needed to get a decision over Mayweather in this fight.

Floyd has been saying he will take time off after this fight and let his body recoup. Delahoya is talking about a megafight with Hatton, which may not happen if Hatton loses. Delahoya and Goldenboy( the biggest promotion company in the biz right now ) telling everybody that Hatton will win. Cassamayeur is promoted by Goldenboy, Demetrius Hopkins is promoted by Goldenboy, Oscar( who almost got the nod against pbf ) is of course promoted by goldenboy. All of those fighters were recent benefactors of bad judging. It may be psycological, but judges are influenced by the big promoters.

With a megafight with Delahoya waiting in the wings, and Floyd talking about timeoff/retirement, I wouldn't be surprised if the judges are looking to give Hatton all of the close rounds. Still, I think Floyd will be good enough to give himself the 4 round cusion needed to eek out a decion.

:yep For the fifth time I'm going to counter this silly intuition. Oscar is much sneakier than you because only a fool would be so obviously friendly toward the fighter he's fixed to win.

punches that land are punches that land. you land more you win thats kind of how this fight is going to go because both have respectable power and both will hit with the same kind of authority. One thing is for sure if hatton starts landing 1 hook per every 1 jab of Mayweather than I can see Mayweather losing rounds. Mayweather has to make Ricky look stupid as hell, if he doesn't - then the score cards will be all over the ****ing place. And I honestly don't care because defensive boxers kill themselves through their inactivity. If Mayweather losses it will be a similar way that Hopkins lost to Taylor, same fkn reason.

Saw the fight live from the cheap ass seats, and then saw it on replay.

8-4 Floyd. I one hundred percent agree, Floyd kicked DLH's ass.

That said, I predict Floyd close UD tomorrow night. Hattons gone push the man SO hard. Floyds just that razor thin margin above the rest of the welterweights right now.

I posted a similar thread to this two days ago...

"It just occured to me that this is a Golden Boy card with millions in the bank waiting for DLH if Hatton wins. Since it is likely that Hatton will be the aggressor in the fight, a decision in his favor would be arguable even if he is clearly outboxed. Demetrius Hopkins-Steve Forbes, and Joel Casamayor-Santa-Cruz showed that when there is a potential investment on the line, DLH makes sure to protect his investment.

This is the worst posible outcome for boxing. Don't get me wrong, if Hatton earns the win that's fine by me. But I have a feeling that unless Mayweather embarrasses Hatton to win a Wide UD or a TKO, that the decision will go to Hatton. All he has to do is win 4 rounds and that'd be enough to argue affective aggression on the rest."

  10. Bull**** Hatton is not going to get any gifts:-( what are you smokin:huh

The mouth will win a comfortable decision 8-4, just can't see FM losing he's quicker, bigger, fighting at a more natural weight, in a 20 foot ring, in his backyard in his home country..

Even thou i don't like FM i have to be realistic, he's gonna win..
