I think Hatton is on the downslide, and is ripe for the pickin'. In saying that, there is no way in hell Paulie will beat him. Ricky is gonna get in that ass, deep.
I think that Hatton would win a close fight against Malignaggi, both are very good fighters and are probably the 2 best junior welterweights in the world right now. Hatton puts a lot of pressure of you and suffocates your punches, it works a lot better for him at 140 than it does at 147 as seen before.
Mallinagi will never win that fight. And if he loses I bet he blames it on his broken hands. It's just like PBF...when he finally loses its gonna be because his broken hands and not because they just got beat up.
This is gonna be a good fight. I favor Hatton but Malinaggi might score an upset decision if his hands stay healthy.
I think Paulie would do better than he did against cotto. He'd rise to the occasion knowing hatton is his ticket to stardom and that hatton is already declining. I don't really think hatton is that good after seeing him have trouble in his carlos mausa fight. the castillo fight isn't spectacular at all for ricky since the opponent hasn't been in a good condition since the second corrales match. with mayweather, he only proves that his greatest talent is his bear hugs. with that said, i think hatton still wins this one by decision but paulie would make him look slow and awkward.
Don't think so. Malignaggi lacks the power to back Hatton off who obviously will be all over Malignaggi from start to finish. Picking Hatton by decision here with Malignaggi possibly dropped once or twice.
the cotto that fought malignaggi even if weight-drained is still better and punches harder than the current declining version of hatton. hatton would have lots of trouble and awkward moments against malignaggi and would not beat malignaggi the way cotto did. he still wins though.
Hatton may not be a shadow of the fighter even his critics think he is but Malinfaggi is maybe the worst 140 belt holder ever, even Rees would beat him.
