    i still cant believe it that floyd allowed hatton to tie him up and practically wrestled with him. that's why it took floyd longer to put away hattonn. hatton tried to do this against pac but failed because he was greeted with counter rights.

    Well, you probably can't believe it because it was the way around. Mayweather negated Hatton's inside game by tying him up and not allowing Hatton to get punches off.

    granting that is the case, floyd is the bigger, longer reach, superior boxer. hence, it would have been easier for him to keep hatton at a distance. btw, vs pac hatton had the mentality that he is bigger and stronger than pac.

    Cotto won more rounds than Hatton, bloodied Floyd's nose, AND didn't end up at the end of the fight like this:

    Hatton is an overrated scrub who wrestled Tzu to victory and beat a washed up Castillo. He retired because he learned the hard way that he was NOT as good as he thought he was. Manny almost killed him in the ring and from that... he lacked the heart to come back another day.
