Many believed that Lacy would steam roll Calzaghe. Are you going to tell me that Lacy isn't tailor made for Calzaghe? I think the Tszyu win was a good win for Hatton considering Tsyzu's talent level and stature. However, Ricky has been carefully matched his whole career and the got Tszyu at the right itme.

I'm extatic about the Phillies. The parade was unbelievable.

Yes different styles but both have better handspeed than Hatton better counter-punching better defense and better chins. Bradley is a very good young fighter who will only get better. You've clearly haven't seen much of Bradley because if you had you'd know he would give Hatton fits.

Stonerose, you need to read these posts carefully and think before you post. No one is comparing Lacy to Tzsyu, the situations were being compared. The point I was making is that just because the experts are picking you to lose doesn't mean that you aren't a stylistic nightmare for your opponent. Do you get what I'm saying now?

Yep, Hatton has been living off that shell of Tszyu since forever.

He got his ass kicked by Mayweather and was lucky to scrape that one with Collazo. No coincidence these are the two most skilled operators he fought that weren't 35 years old.

It's little wonder he wouldn't take the risk of fighting Witter for little reward. I see it the same with Bradley.

I sure did but I didn't think he was ready to take the next step because of his age but he proved me and others wrong with his win over Witter.

Fair enough, but it is practically impossible to know when you are being serious or not.
You used to say you were a Calzaghe fan but accepted that he would be KOd by Pavlik. Were you joking? Being serious? Who knows.

If most of your boxing posts are sarcastic answers that are written in a matter of fact none sarcastic manner then it is hardly surprising if they are misread as being serious.

Hatton said in the Manchester Evening Newspaper he`d fight Witter if he won a major title. So when Witter beat Demarcus Corley to win the WBC title Hatton went, oh ****,nah sack it and then he went back on his word.I knew he would do that as soon as i read the column.

Bradley is a well groomed fighter, he has a long amateur background in this game, he has skills, I am not so sure that Hatton would destroy him.. I think Tim gives him nightmares, style wise Bradley can sit back and counter Ricky all ****ing night long.

That may happen but hatton is a different proposistion yes he as trouble with slick boxers but what would bradley be like if hatton goes inside. I must admit I was very impressed with the way bradley beat witter, but as you know i don't like witter. Its an intriguing fight and i would love to see it.

Being straight up I have seen bradley a few times at the doubletree in, in Ontario California up close the handspeed and power is much more than what you see on TV that is the case with all fighters, but the man has been pressured and he simply adapts to just about any style there is, Ricky is not going to change much even with his new trainer, you really cant teach that kind of dogg new tricks he only knows one way.

Bradley will prepair for that, and if Ricky trys to employ boxing skills to his game, Bradley and his background in the sport will allow him to adapt to that, and play off of it as Ricky is very green in that area, it would be a mistake for Hatton to try new things in there with a guy who has this kind of background, he will get stomped.
