Hatton ducked the fight in 03 when offered a shot at the WBO belt. Judah poses the same problem Pacquaio did, southpaw angles, speed power and counter punching.
It seems there are two distinct schools of thought on this one: the first that Hatton could take Zab's early best and snatch-and-whack him until he tuckered out and supplicated, and the second (my own viewpoint, as it happens) that the lefty version of the shoulder roll would just prove too buttered-beach-ball slippery for the Mancunian Mexican and that his body shots and roughhouse clinching would never even have a chance to factor in. Let's get a poll up, and see where the division line falls. :thumbsup
I'm against you here :yep I think we have to consider the Enigma that was Zab. If he turns up totally foccused then he wins, but most times he doesn't and would not be able to keep Ricky off of him. In your first post IB, you calimed that Zab has much faster feet which I would dispute. If they are faster then it's by a shade, handspeed is where he has the large advantage. Judah folds, and the way to make Judah fold is to preassure him and keep him uncomftorble, which is Hatton's bread and butter.
Judah will never be in a fight of the year bc he can only dish but can't take it. As soon the going gets tough, he fouls and look for a way out.
Zab against a notorious body-puncher? First blow beneath the neck would have Zab running from the Garden crying low-blow.
