sorry you clear are a hater. The shot was abviously a good one. People around here are saying it broke two of his ribs. i don't konw where this infromation comes from but I wouldn't be suprized if it was true.

Hatton castillo was a good fight. anyone impartial person would a gree. Even though there was a lot of clincing the fight was not slow. There was always action surronding the clinchs. Do u call action boring?

I disagree. And I'll tell anyone who will listen.

    Slugger beats brawler.

    Bawler beats boxer.

    Boxer beats slugger.

Boxing's eternal circle of "bad style match-ups"

Some of the greatest one-punch knockouts...even in Championship Fights,
have been via a body blow to the liver that the recepient never saw.

Take a look at the Jose Torres-Willie Pastrano Lt Heavywt. fight from the early 1960's and you see Pastrano on the ground for a couple of minutes.
Sports Illustrated quoted Pastrano as saying "I saw nothing but yellow spots
    when I got hit.

I think "Pretty Boy" would be "Falling Floyd" (ala Patterson) if he got hit by Hatton's best.

hit in hte liver hmm i dont know but if he get hit i think he will get up after like 8 or 9 and rd the rest of the around.then be ready for the next round fighting a safe fight and loseing rds because of his lack of punches thrown because hatton hurt him.see pbf wins the 1st 3 easy and then we are thinking shut out, then hattons a devastating punch in the 4th that drops pbf and makes him get the running.so after that pbf is fighting to survive until the pain goes away, hatton is non stop going crazy, the crowd is going crazy.manny and jim or sucking hattons balls.then by the 7th rd its all even pbf looking tired and slow and hatton ready for the kill getting stonger and stronger.then in round 7th, well im tired now tell you the rest later.

Landing it wouldn't be easy, but if it does land....that's the fight. I'm not underrating Floyd's toughness, but it's simple logic- if ribs get broken, there goes any mobility advantage he'd have even if he does beat the 10 count. Not to mention the chance that any further body punches could result in internal bleeding and real damage depending on what rib gets broken at what place.

It's not something someone can just shake off or fight around like a bad hand or shoulder.

What would happen? The same thing that happens every time Floyd gets caught with a good shot. Oh, wait a minute...Floyd's never been caught with a good shot. Go figure?

Hatton would never land that shot against Floyd. He should of never landed it against Castillo. Castillo was so far out of position that he was inviting Ricky to land that shot.. ****.. he turned his side too him.

Moot point. Mayweather would never let Hatton land that punch. Mayweather would win a comfortable decision if he ever fought Hatton. Everytime Ricky would try and jump in on Floyd he would eat a sharp counter for his troubles. He couldn't get away with that **** against PBF. :bart

One of, if not the best conditioned athleate in the world should surley be able to handle that pucnh. Castillo's heart wasn't in the fight, it was completley obvious. He could have gotten back up from that, he just didn't want it. Floyd would'nt have even gone down, he would've countered with a straight left and kept fighting off the ropes.
