Hatton's chin and how he'll be effected by Pacman's punching power

Yep but Oscar was very very badly tagged and as Lary said his face was printed. Oscar was hit in the past by hard hitters and his face never looked like that. For example in the first Mosley fight he took a lot of punches. Oscar chin is great and he could have survived a little bit more but his eye was closed already. So I think Manny punch hard also at higher weights. Hatton must avoid as many punches as possible

 

At least he`s never been KO`d by a body shot.

 

His chin is fairly solid. He got caught with a punch he didn't see from Mayweather and was put away, then rocked but not down and out against Lazcano.

People can talk about the Lazcano fight all they want but we've seen Pac rocked by Marquez and Morales who are much smaller men than Lazcano and Hatton.

Obviously he can't take an accumilation of punches but I doubt we'll see him get caught and put away quickly.

 

Where have I mentioned Hattons power? This thread is about Hattons chin vs Pacs power (read the title).

Don't take things so personally. I'm getting tired of having to make sure I put in a little praise for Pacs performances in posts I make about the Diaz and Oscar fights just so his fans don't get bent out of shape.

It seems you can't even question any aspect of Pacs skills or abilites at a weight he's never fought at before without upsetting someone.

Well atleast he did that with an old Castillo when Manny couldnt do it with a old Oscar.

Point is this, you dont have to have power to do damage a perfect example is Whitaker who was able to drop Oscar who does have a good chin.

 

i dont take things personally,but some of you Hatton fans talk like hes the incredible Hulk with all the talk about his power and his strenght.

 

He's the fighter who's a career 140lber and known to be strong at the weight while Pac has virually no experience of handling a fighter with that style at anywhere near 140.

So, while he's not the Hulk, I'd say his physcial strength will be a problem for Pacquiao.

 

Pac is a lot smaller than DLH and Oscar has a great chin it would be dumb to expect Manny who started his career as a flyweight to knock Oscar out with one punch.

But he landed a **** load of shots and at will clean hard flush with murderous intent on them and still didnt even drop the man didnt really wobble him.

Yes Oscar is the bigger man with a good chin, So is RickY~~~~~~~

Manny is not going to stop Ricky with a single shot thats for sure, and Ricky isnt going to sit there and allow himself to just get hit, he will hit back.

Pac KO 6 after a one sided beating. Hatton is in way over his head hes not on Pacs level.

I cant wait for the Hatton is shot and Mayweather ruined him excuses after the fight, not by you but from his huggers.

Thats my point~ He hasnt been in there with anybody north of 130 who can punch even with Diaz, that guy went the full 12 with a shot down Morales after all the pacquiao beatings, and still Manny had to work to get it done, though he did dominate it wasnt exactly short work.

What will happen when Manny gets hit back by a guy who is young enough to hit back and strong enough to make it matter? that is the question, and the last time we saw this was with Marquez who again is a smaller man than Hatton and doesnt have the same style as hatton, a boxer in there with Manny is a safer fight than someone who will pressure him the way Hatton will.

Manny will not be comfortable in this fight at all the size the power the pressure the work rate it will all wear him down late in the fight
