He's adjusted but you really can't say yet that he's improved. Malignaggi was so feeble and impotent that Hatton just had a sparring session, showing us all his new moves. Wheather that would work against a non-Malignaggi a yet answered question.

Malignaggi did not look good that night, nor had he been fighting his best lately, so I can't put much faith in that win for Hatton.

Hatton isn't going to "use his speed" to outbox Pacquaio, he will out muscle him and bully Pac on the inside, like he did Tszyu. I see it being a very tough night for Pacquaio, although it could go the other way entirely, which is what makes this fight so great.

What Hatton is saying is that he has improved and actually uses his skill again. Paulie got exposed cus he was fighting Hatton, he was still touted as being champion material after the Cotto beating. But he got out-boxed by a "brawler" in Hatton, so if paulie is a "master-boxer" like foreman and colin hart and everyone else was making out before the figt, what does that make Hatton?

Pac-man has speed and power no doubt, but not the power of Hatton if he gets trapped near the ropes.

edit: oh and he didnt stop paulie because paulie was in survival mode, hanging on for dear life after Hatton rocked him that first time, again alluding to hattons power.

Hatton never claimed malignaggi was a big scalp or anything special.

yeah I mean even before the fight the way he was sighing and pacing up and down slowly in his dressing room...he knew he was going to win, and win easy. and after the fight, again, did he seem like a guy who was amazed that he just beat Paulie Malignaggi? He barely cracked a smile lol

compare that to the guy jumping up and down and shadowboxing for the cameras before the Mayweather fight...

Hatton uses the Malignaggi fight as an example of his improvement, nothing more.
