Who cares what they get paid though? As long as the fights happen why should we? The fans people are on about are the ones paying for all the terrible PPVs making fighters think they’re PPV worthy. This makes fights harder to make. These idiots have made Hearn abandon normal Saturday night shows so all we get now is a PPVs with one big (sometimes) fight and a load of mis matches and then Nxtgen. I’m not against ‘casuals’ after all that’s how everyone starts. Nobody is born knowledgeable about the technical side of the sport never mind all the confusing politics and other stuff that comes with it.

I think we need casuals - at least I do The only time I can get my wife to watch any boxing and not complain about me doing so is when AJ fights lol - she will then even sit through - and properly watch - the undercard as well She gets properly into the fight and you would think she was a boxing nut The marketing and big event stuff that they have surrounded AJ with plays very well to the family audience - just like Bruno did before
