I dont see how one with his position and talent WOULDNT take it to his advantage!! I mean win lose or DRAW? Wouldnt that "ATG" fighter want to find out how good he really is?

If Floyd doesnt?? That says tremendous things about him. Unfortunately? They arent positive:nono Because the real and true ATG WW's surely did.

If Thomas Hearns was undefeated in 2008 instead of 1981? Based on Floyd's actions to this point? It VERY HIGHLY UNLIKELY THAT HE TAKES THE FIGHT:yep Its that very type of attitude and desire that Floyd needs to PROVE his mark.

From his stanpoint, it's a smart move. He's already established himself as one of the greats. Who wouldn't want to make millions?

For boxing fans, it's very disappointing though

    :good

wtf iz u takn bout bra, if oscar think he can beat him and the last fight was a bs sd, then why not fight him again.according to some oscar could have won the fight.so no matter how action packed the fight waoscar wants a rematch and mayweather said ok, how much ?? now they are fighting big deal.

hatton thinks it was the ref and this that and the other and he wants another crack at him, which i dont really believe at all.look for mayweather cotto to be at least a made fight before the yr is over.

floyd aint ducking anyone, he takin a brake and making millions in the process.cry me a ****ing river all ready, cotto aint in no hurry to get that ass beat anyways.and you should not be in a hurry to watch it, i know i aint (thats lie).**** it is what it is :hat

I would lose all respect for Mayweather if he never fights Cotto.
His decision to go into WWE is hilarious, a laughable attempt at increasing his bank balance which is already huge!!!
I don't understand MayW...He has enough talent to be a complete and utter superstar but he lets himself down with his silly comments and brash outspoken nature. A real pity for boxing that he has chosen this path rather than one with a little humility. 8)

I see Manny Pacquiao pulling ahead. For a while I was stubborn, leaving Mayweather at 1#. But honestly, it's getting to that point. I think it depends heavily on who these two fight next.

Pretty soon, we could have a number one pound-4-pounder who is named "Pac-Man" rather than "Money". Sounds better.

When you look at the last ten fights of Mayrunner and then say, Pacman, how can you have respect?

    Here's a question.

Who is more insecure, Floyd or his fans on ESB?
