His resume, whilst not great is still very good. I cant understand all the hate for Hatton at the moment, whilst ive never been his biggest fan i respect what he has achieved. And if i was a boxer and my only 2 defeats where to the p4p number 1 at the time i would be more than happy. If Hatton wants to balloon up between fights, then its up to him. I didnt know that boxers now have to live their lives according to the public.

I dont get that, people moan when footballers or other sportsmen are up their own arses and live lives totally different to the general public, yet when we have a sportsman like Hatton who lives like the normal bloke people still grumble.
I've never heard anyone from the Hatton camp suggest that. The excuses have all been to do with his training camp leading up to the fight. Mayweather was always late, Mayweather argued with Beard, I overtrained etc. etc. etc.
I think we all actually saw this on the 24/7. I think Hatton probably did have a pretty chaotic camp compared to what he is used to, but thats the way it goes. Would he have beaten Pac with a stella camp? Probablly not but you cant blame the guy for not wanting to go out like that. Plus it must be hard for a guy who was the number 1 in the division and basically untouchable to be beaten in the fashion he was, hence the excuses. Its funny how Khan was the guy to be slagged off a few months ago and now its Hattons turn to be the anti Christ whilst Khan is the second coming...... a day in the life of ESB
I actually think he's got a decent resume as well. I also respect his boxing acheivements but I've lost alot of the respect I had for him.
He has to take some of the responsibility for the camp. It was ultimately his decision to bring in Mayweather and agree to his terms (if indeed it was him that set the camp durations etc.). Don't doubt it was hard to take but I struggle to respect anyone that makes excuses for their failings (I do still hold some respect for what he's done in the past). Don't blame him for not wanting to go out like that.

I think it's probably frustration. I'd love to know what more, if anything, he could have acheived had he lived his life completely dedicated to boxing.
This whole thing can only go one way.He's put even more weight on than he usually does.Add to that he's getting slower as well as older and if he ends up fighting a world class opponent then he loses,and possibly badly. Listening to him the other night blaming Roger Mayweather for the loss to Manny through over training suggests he's also deluded.
