Haye challenges Klitschko video clip

Of course it's good for boxing - it builds interest in a fight that might someday happen. And at least Haye seemed to recognize he needs to actually fight a couple of HWs before he gets a crack at the big man!

Personally, I'd rather see Wladimir fight for his third title over a anti climatic fight with Haye.

Wlad vs. the Chag Valuev winner would do alot more for the division than Wladmir taking a former cruisewieght champion in Haye out in five rounds.

 

I guess Haye is about 6'3" and afairly good athlete. I bet they fight early next year. This was probably staged guys. David Haye just wants to jump ahead of everyone and make some money, don't blame him. After Vlad fights Povetkin he doesn't have to fight another mandatory until next summer that gives Vlad 3 fights in one year. After Vitali beats Peter ( I think that he will) he will fight the other champ Valuev A Russian (Political) then Vitali will retire Vlad then can unify the titles with just one fight. He will fight a few more times then he will retire before he is 36.

 

Vlad will murder Haye.

 

Wlad looked very cool and composed, was not phased by Haye at all.

 

david haye is not a small man lol he is 6 ft 3 and apparently going to be roughly 220-225

Igbragimov is only 6ft 2/ 219 ilb against wlad

Brewster 6 ft 2 226 1st fight / 228 secound fight

Sam peter is only 6ft 1/2 243

David haye is a heavyweight who has been draining himself down to cruiserweight.

If sam peter can catch klitscko and put him on his arse 3 times, im sure the much taller and faster and far far superiour boxer in haye has a great chance !

Hell corrie sanders was on an inch taller then haye at 6 ft 4 and weighed 225 against wlad and see what happened to him.

Wlad is a favorite and rightly so but if haye catches him he can put him to sleep and anyone who dosen't think haye has a chance is either biased, blind or damn right dumb. :bbb

 

All I can say is I look forward to this fight, but bttom line, Haye has got to prove himself against top 10 opposition.

Haye was talking like a chatterbox who didnt even try to convince Klitschko to take him seriously but to impress a clueless mob of journalists and reporters.

I dont think that Wlad will ever give a shot at his title after Haye's cheap attempt to get media attention by confronting Wlad in front of dozens of reporters. Wlad really had some problems to find the right words being forced to speak a foreign language.

 

They're both lucky they never came through when a 20 yr old tyson was about. Just rewatched his dismantling of bruno within 5 rds. Bruno actually never fought a bad fight & gave his all but he ran into a prime tyson who I believe was at the top of his game from 20-24yrs. Those savage left hooks would of found both wlads's & haye's chin & goodnight irene would of been the call.

 

You've sussed me out, you know I'm from Swansea. But seriously I've rooted for every Haye opponent way before he destroyed Macca. My judgement of his ability is not blinded by my dislike for him.
