Haha sorry gasha, thought you were on a wind up earlier, that was embarrassing to watch and I bet nothing like char had played out in his head.
no worries man :good yeah seemed Charr thought it would be a huge deal but it turned out a little embarrassing
It was a bit cringy, at least when Haye pulls his stunts he has a certain level of verbal dexterity to get his way, bet Charr isn't feeling like top-boy right now!
He was speaking a 2nd language so let him off for that, the reason it didn't work is because no one knows who the **** he is :rofl To be fair though i'm a new fan, if only for sympathy
I was happy that Haye and Chisora shook hands at the end and now seem comfortable enough in each others company now... as for Charr, I am just embarrassed for him.
Agree with every word you said above. Its always good to see boxers create good sportsmanship after fights. Its all a hype and caught up in the moment. but glad they shook hands and but the past behind them... We think/hope lol G
I don't think Don Charles is comfortable, he looked like a hard faced **** throughout the whole press con! I think Don Charles on the sly, was antagonising Chisora's bad blood towards Haye. I felt bad for Chisora at the press conference, there was a point! at the weigh in on thursday. When David Haye turned to Don Charles and was saying, "You're going to throw the towel in, its on you're head or whatever..?".... Derek Chisora kind of looked at Don Charles, and i thought it was strange behaviour. All his attention was on Don Charles, and not on David Haye giving Charles abuse.... "It was as if he was looking for reassurance in Don Charles's reaction, but Charles.............said nothing, and kind of was abit stunned by Haye's abuse"...... Chisora's face completely changed from that point on, and he looked abit confused like a child. I honestly think Haye had Chisora beat after that weigh in, or atleast bothered and abit confused. I honestly think the Chisora camp thought David Haye was afraid of Derek Chisora, and intimidated........ "For me he lacked real belief in what he was doing against Haye, he was certainly trying.....but i think both guys! Haye and Chisora where shocked by how each other was fighting. I don't think Chisora expected Haye to be so aggressive, and i don't think Haye expected Chisora to be so strong at coming forward! and Chisora did land some big shots, and some jabs throughout the fight".....
I'm not down on Charr, it took balls to attempt his attention grab. But trying it on in your second tongue against the gobbyist hw, in his native tongue, when he has the stage and a microphone was ****ing kamikazi:rofl I'm genuinely going to look up Charr tommorrow, I hope he feels that is a win of sorts!
Chisora lost because he isn't on Hayes level. Charles has an immense dislike for Haye because of what happened in Munich and subsequent **** spouted by Haye. Don looked as though he wanted to strangle Booth after that patronising kiss, don't act ***** on an old skool naija senior.
These fighters no matter how much they hate each other in preparation, must deep down always have allot of admiration for each other. Only a fellow fighter can really understand the emotional hurt, you can tell that even David Haye is abit weary of Don Charles...."The way he just stuck his hand out".....i think Don Charles is a complete hard face ****! very bitter! he should take positives even from this defeat! because being a hard face ****! is not going to help Derek Chisora. David Haye empathetically acknowledge Derek Chisora........"Alright Derek".....and then shook his hand. All these people who say, these fighters act all of their bad blood. This is the ****ing hurt game, there is allot to win and allot to lose. With those kind of emotional triggers, it's all real. "At the end of the fights, 9 times out of 10.......these guys realise that they are all brothers in arms, in a strange sort of way"....
