Was he undisputed?

No.

Was he unified?

Yes.

Was he the lineal champion?

Yes.

Unified, undisputed and lineal are all different things but the last two tend to be connected. And the WBO is the lesser of the four belts.

 

He already said it was a unification bout, it just wasn't for the IBF. Are you ******ed?

 

sorry if you read my previous posts highlight the post where i said undisputed. you will find that i never said that i simply stated that he unified the cruiserweight division

You cant come on here and talk **** without being pulled up on it.

The fact is - in the main stream media - and when Haye talks - he is referred to as the Undisputed Crusirerweight Champion.

So maybe thats where you got you conclusion from.

But we here on the forum - know better - cos boxing is a subject we obvioulsy look at deeper than the casual main stream media.

Haye was never undisputed - WBO belt is a paper belt - IBF title he never won.

He claimed he wanted to emulate what Holyfield did at Crusierweight.

He didnt.

Holyfield won WBC / WBA / IBF

Haye won WBC / WBA / WBO

All belts are bogus these days.

But to say the WBO is the final piece in the Unidpsuted jigsaw and the IBF Champ is worhtless is garbage fella.

if you are going to post a long reply maybe research your claims i had initially stated that in my opinion due to different reasons the wbo had become more prestigious than the ibf belt. my main point being that the ibf in recent years stripped its no1 champ and there rankings are biased and obviously based on the usba rankings. they have us / us trained fighters as there top dogs in hw this is not a true reflection of the hw division. is it? that was my inital point nothing to do with haye i then went on to say that haye unified the division. 2 seperate statements i made based on my opinion.

now these were the inital topics up for dispute. so please stop being childish and my opinion was questioned i was not speaking s*ite as you have done over the course of your most recent posts.

The history boxing since all these titles have come about is WBC / WBA / IBF were the early ones at the beginning.

The WBO was a low rent title that came along after that - fighters like Tyson and Roy Jones and Lennox Lewis have never even bothered fighting for a WBO title their whole career - because it has no signifcance to them - they know its a shitty belt for the lower ranked fighters to fight over.
