The funny thing is people kept argueing it wasn't a duck because he fought the "bigger and more dangerous Valuev" instead
Haye would have beat that version of Vitali, chisora had him running. Chisora lol. Klit fans would have been devastated, Vitali loss to Haye, wlad clowned by fury. 'As if David 'toebreaker' Haye could beat Vitali ..... 'As if fury who uppercutted himself could outbox wlad'......oh Mass suicides
Haye chose to fight Valuev instead because doing that would give him a shot at winning the WBA Title and give him a stronger negotiating position against either Klitschko. If he was bringing a World Title to the table he could get better terms than if he was just a challenger without a title. Regardless, it doesn't change the fact that in 2012 Vitali's camp told Haye to fight Chisora and Vitali would fight the winner, yet Vitali then backed out of that promise and said he wasn't going to fight Haye because Haye had fought Chisora.
Haye got paid more vs Valuev & under far better conditions, he was free to choose his future opponents. The K2 slave contract was fight Vitali, then Wlad, then Vitali again & then another fighter to be chosen by K2. All the fights would be promoted by K2 for predetermined purses along with all the other bull**** clauses K2 love. Vitali fought Charr instead of Haye then retired despite promising to fight the winner of Haye-Chisora.
