It all depends what kind of livestyle he wants to fund in retirement, I'm pretty sure I could put my feet up for life on the money he got from the Enzo fight.

I don't know his finances but the Enzo fight must have grossed him a fair bit. A packed O2 and PPV must be worth a decent wedge, does anyone have the figures for that fight?

No wonder when anyone fights one of these robot brothers they look like they couldn't give a **** about winning the fight. Just glad that Lennox never gave a rematch.

Psychologically though this may well rebound against them, if Haye's willing to take these terms (the split in money and the Vit match not the rematch which is acceptable) then he's giving them a big message that he isn't there to play cricket as Big Frank would say.

 

Haye may be cool with it. The Setanta purse might still pay him well and rematching Wlad and fighting Vit is the best fights in terms of money and legacy. He's fought in Paris so Germany shouldn't be too bad. If he rematches Wlad, then it should be in the UK.

Haye's probably the kind of guy that didn't think much of this.

 

Note: Wlad has also chosen the ring size. Steward said that wlad asked him what size ring they should go for! I'm sure haye has also confirmed he was giving wlad everything he wants, including the ring size!!!

I dont think that Haye took any cut from the O2 and it was not pay per view Gaz - it was on setanta - any of them extras were snapped up by Frank Warren it was a sports network show and Warren invested in it and took any of the tickets sales etc - I dont expect Haye had any profit from that.

However it is too my understanding Warren paid Haye close to a million pounds for Haye to defend them titles against Maccarenelli.

Not quite - but something around £800,000.

Enzo didnt even get half of that more like £250,000.

Thats just me reading in between the lines.

Anyway to the fight.

The moral victory is already with Haye.

Wlad has showed himself to be a insecure sissy by needing heaven the earth and everything in it as a condition to fight Haye.

Haye only needs his gumshield and shorts and boots and a plane ticket to germany and a hotel room.

I am 100% in support from Haye.

I know that some people think I am against Haye because he raped Enzo Maccarenelli.

But the Maccarenelli fight is history now.

I am behind Haye and hope he smashes sissy Wlad.

I think Haye can definetly fight with more confidence and desrtuction than Wlad and find his glass chin.

But also cautious that Wlad is a very powerful dude and so Haye getting knocked out early is a strong possibilty.

 

Haye said on the bunce hour it will still be the most by far he's been paid for a title fight.

Which made me think maybe not as much as the Barrett fight (which seems wierd)

 

He clearly wants the fight and really belives he can win it.Good luck to him.I cant see him pulling it off but have nothing but respect for him after accepting terms like these,it will be a great night for the sport.

I have never seen £140,000 in my life - but I still get by ok.

When you are rich you get more superficial worries and are never satisfied.

I don't think the Barret fight did that well Chinny, they ended up selling half price tickets and still had very large gaps in the seating.
