David Haye is reportedly in talks with Lucas Browne for a fight this May. Fres Oquendo is apparently being promised a shot at the winner.

    Thoughts?

actually a decent fight for both men. Really hope Lucas cashes in on the big fights. Whoever lands first gets the win although If Haye has still got the legs he could make the fight easy.

Quite a coup for DAVE if this fight gets made and is shown on DAVE for £0 Pounds

I think ITV might want this a 'world title' fight considering Haye's numbers on Dave and the spare cash they have floating around now they're no longer showing a number of other sports.

Hope this happens. The other day Malik Scott said he's in the running to fight him and Shannon Briggs is coming to the UK next week to try and drum up interest in a potential fight. Haye beats Browne in one round if he forces it, but he'd probably feel him out and stop him inside four.

    makes sense for both men

oquendo brings no money or ticket sales and would have to take place in australia

mundine was able to earn good money / i presume browne could as the first heavy champ / but how much i am not sure

haye definatley brings more money to the table / enough to pay oquendo step aside money.

If Sky don't want it then I'd imagine this will end up on ITV if they are serious about the PBC launch.

As for the fight itself if Haye is in any semblance of shape he deals with Browne easily.

Hayes a fraud and should be made to work for his title shot. He's an excellent fighter no doubt but let him face a legitimate top tier fighter prior to being handed a title shot.

Plus he looks a proper scruffy gob****e

No chance whatsoever Haye stops Browne in a round

This is certainly the best opponent Haye will have faced at Heavyweight bar Klitschko who he lost every round to.

Chagaev (who Browne just beat) is better than anyone Haye has faced bar Wlad.

I remember a shot 40 year old John Ruiz taking Haye to the 9th over six years ago.

No chance with Haye's inactivity this would be a walk in the park IMO.

    Great fight.

Would be a good fight, I see Browne giving Haye some rounds but Haye stops him late IMO.

Yes he is he's a chancer, a charlatan who would rather be a z-list celeb than a boxer. It's only now the money is running thin that he's come back against an utter ****e boxer in De Mori and you silly cuts lapped it up.

Exactly the arrogance of Haye and the blind idiotically demented following he has just know no bounds.
