Do you know what? On second thought, I hate Haye, he's a bum. If he had any balls he would have signed with Warren, fought scrubs on Calzaghe undercards, won a tinpot, irrelevant title and then lost to himself in an humiliating second round k.o (because he made a mistake), instead of wasting his time with European this and undisputed, linear that, unbeaten who etc. Oh, and grown a pair of seventy year old breasts of course.
True But thats more to do with them fighters mentioned have all been protected and fought overmatched bums on Frank Warren shows defending their crappy WBO belts. Haye is superior to them in that way - I understand what your saying. But thats just cos Frank Warren is a wanker and his fighters have joking world title reigns under his petty control. But in other parts of the World. Barrera was a professional at 15 years old - and World Champion at 21 years old. Mike Tyson was World Heavyweight Champion at 20 years old. Oscar De La Hoya fought 100 fight Mexican Legend Julio Cesar Chavez - at 23 years old - on his first fight on moving up to that weight. Wifredo Benetiz was a World Champion at 17 years old. Muhammed Ali was World Heavyweight Champion - fighting the fercoious Sony Liston - at 21 years old. When you compare Hayes career to Frank Warren fighters - he may seem "incredibile" - because their careers are such a low standard in terms of ambtion and crebility. But when you compare Haye to the fighters of the like mentioned above - its just normal practice. If you think your the best - and want to be the best - you fight the best - simple really You would expect nothing less of a real fighter - it should be normal practice everywhere. Unfortunaletly with men like Frank Warren controlling the sport - I agree the likes of Haye are a rarity in British Boxing these days
Thats a very big word. My honest thoughts are based on seeing Haye fight last week Its a Herbie Hide - Vitali fight all over again Haye may last longer - but at some point Vitali is going to nail him good
Yup, its a fight I think he will most likely lose. But I admire the bloke for taking the challenge. To little of it around these days.
i have said for a longtime that haye is an absolute breathe of fresh air for the sport, his humour and attitude is fantastic, the guy is fearless. he deserves so mush more credit then most
After seeing what Vitali did to Peter, supposedly a huge puncher and fearless warrior, I am surprised anyone wants to get in there with Vitali. Credit to Haye if this is genuinely the case.
Why shouldnt he make some noise after those 3 fights and why shouldnt you believe what he has to say.The guy has delivered up to now and there is no reason why he shouldnt deliver in the future.Vitalli for me is the only class heavy out there but its not beyond the realms of possibility that Haye beats him.
