but the guy has 2 titles and he been dropped like 12 times in is career and lost to club fighter in his prime and 2 average world class fighters not great champions by early stoppage and he is the number 1 guy out there, that tell you how bad the HW divison is right now, In the 70s Wlad would not even be a top 10 guy.
1. What are you talking about 12 times? He has been down three or four times. 2. Thompson, a club fighter? He as a long reigning world champion and Haye was green as ****. 3. Early stoppage. Enzo would have been killed if that fight had went on. He was completly gone. It is called protecting a fighter. 4. You overate the 70's. Hell the greatest HW of all time, Ali got some dodgy descsions and was dropped in his prime. :good
what about ross the Boss back in 98 he went down once and did not get back up there 1 and he was a average club fighter, 3 times against sanders and did not get back up, 3 times again peters, 2 times against Brewster and also again TOS, I'm talking about Wlad
Neither do most of the guys in the division. When clipped by an Haye Haymaker every other heavy weight will be in the same boat has him. A lot of big 50/50 fights and he has the size, speed, power and skill to come out on top. He also has that ability to capitulate but so do the rest.
i think the guy is a breath of fresh air...inititally i just hought...herbie hide 2, a guy who is fast, can bang, is a small hw and has no whiskers....but the difference is that haye isnt claiming to be unbeatable, he seems to accept that if he gets hit it could be curtains..which is unusual to say the least..and suggsts to me that he knows he has a weakness in his armour and will fight accordingly. i think he was, strangely, rather dismissive of maccas power and speed, i dont think he felt in any danger and that showed in the confident way he just walked the big welshman down and destroyed him iv spoken to many people who thought enzo would be too quick and hit to hard for haye, but power is a great equalizer, and hayes power is the real deal. by his own admission, his hw path may be a rocky road, hardly the words of a cocky big head....but the kid has huge confidence, and i think his power will travel up with him ..iv said this before about haye...whats not to like....the guy is a superbly conditioned athlete who can bang, he will fight anyone, and he doesnt have the best chin himself....sounds like the kind of fighter i wanna see....his career might be short and explosive, but he aint gonna be in many dull fights....
I think Haye will dominate the heavyweight division. He isn't too small, he is 6,3ft and will probably weigh around 220 lbs when he moves up. He has lightning speed, and an absolute bomb of a right-hand. He has nobody to fear.
How the **** is he too small? He's 6 ft 3 and will weigh a good 220 at least. Pure muscle You don't need to be a fat **** to be good. That's the biggest problem with the division right now
Haye is going to look like prime Roy Jones in comparison to most of the HW contenders. Unless he ****s up, his chin shouldn't be all that much of an issue right now.
Well put. He is definitely big enough (frame wise) to be a heavy, and his skill will more than compensate for any weight difference. He is no Lennox Lewis though
It's all about the power. With his speed he will land his shots. will the current fighters be able to take them?
