my whole thing is Haye has a chance to win and a very good one. im coming at this from a fans point of view...i just want to see the best go at it....
"Talks have begun between the camps in an effort to make a Wladimir Klitschko-David Haye heavyweight title unification bout, Klitschko adviser Shelly Finkel told ESPN.com. They'll get down to more serious business next week because Haye, manager/trainer Adam Booth, Finkel and Golden Boy's Richard Schaefer (Haye's co-promoter) will all be in Las Vegas for the Shane Mosley-Floyd Mayweather fight and will meet face to face. Although Klitschko has an IBF mandatory due against Alexander Povetkin, the organization's rules allow a unification bout to trump a mandatory. John Hornewer, Klitschko's attorney, told ESPN.com that the Klitschko camp has notified the IBF about its effort to make the Haye fight and that because of that, the IBF has put on hold the free negotiation period for the Povetkin fight and won't call a purse bid unless Klitschko-Haye isn't made. "The IBF wants us to keep them posted on the negotiation," Hornewer said. "If we notify them we can't make a deal or Haye makes a deal for another fight, then we'd go back to negotiating with Povetkin." Shall we do a copy and paste for the ******s. Thanks go to Ishy btw.
Talks have begun before and given us nothing. I hope that something comes of this, but until both fighters are in the ring I will not give much credence to this.
I don't disagree, but Haye is 'young' at heavyweight, only had three proper fights there and this side of 30. Holyfiled didn't fight for a world title until his 7th fight at the weight. Saying that, i also understand that it is totally Haye's fault as he has been running his mouth off. I still think the fight will happen sooner rather than later though, and don't get all the hate and the apparent certainty that Haye is running scared in spite of the fact he has taken plenty of risks in a very short career.
I agree but posters seem to pick and choose the sources that suit their agenda. Rafael seems a good enough source to me and he doesn't even like Haye.
Dan certainly does not care for Haye. I know the IBF negotiation period has been extended, so it is quite possible that a fight could be made. I just won't believe it is actually happening until both fighters are in the ring.
The hate in this thread is just hilarious, the Klit fans are seriously the worst around, there embarassing. They all have it in there heads that Haye is terrified of the robots, their in for a shock :deal
let's see what excuse haye has this time for avoiding the fight. hope i am wrong and history does not repeat itself
LOL, these bum lovers are always filled with wishful thinking. Haye ain't scared. What he is doing is wisely biding his time before HE decides to meet the klits in his own time. The longer he waits the better his chances of KO'ing one of the monster bums. Yo Haye! Make em wait until 2012, in-line with the US elections. By then age and chemicals will have caught up with them.
