Cunningham should move up to heavyweight. He'd be America's best in the division, possibly apart from Arreola. He's a top class fighter, who is making a stupid move by staying in the unmarketable cruiserweight division. Haye vs. Cunningham in 2010 for a couple of straps would be an awesome improvement on the current division.
Fragomeni tested Haye's chin enough. He got hit with some really good punches in that fight, and it should be enough to disprove the idea that he has a glass chin. Weak, yes, but he can take a punch. His punch resistant has improved since the Thompson fight. Haye's haters (I'm sure there's a clever word in there somewhere....like the witty Calfaggi), seem to have only seen two fights anyway. The KO of Macca and the loss to Thompson. Have a look sometime.
I saw the ***omeni fight. That's the fight where Haye got his face sliced up by some short, stubby, bum from Italy with a padded record.
Did you not think that was funny? Can you imagine Lennox Lewis getting chinned by Colin Montgomerie? Is funny as hell.
Giacobbe Fragomeni was 37 and only stopped 10 out of 25 or so men,and he did this to hayes face This content is protected I hope he does get a fight with wlad, will be interesting to see what happens,i take wlad within 6 rounds
Did he not take some good punches? The fact Haye got cut is irrelevant. His skin is like wet paper. He got a cut off a short left hook by Enzo, so that's a weakness, but it doesn't mean too much.
Haye's talking himself into a big payday. It's the way Cassius Clay did it with Sonny Liston. Obviously, Haye's no Clay. But klitschko's no Liston either. It's all about the money. Haye obviously doesn't want to have to fight through too many young hungry fighters to get to Wlad, that's why he wants a slow has-been like Rahman. He can KO Rahman in a few rounds, and get a shot against klitschko with all this bravado and taunts, and it will increase the marketability of the fight. It's all a bit childish. Boxing's become like professional wrestling with all this silliness. Then again, we're all guilty of failing to notice one or two good fighters because they dont talk and aren't hyped up. We all buy into it a bit, even if not consciously. The thing about Haye is he's an exciting fighter with a good punch, but he'd rather hype himself up by talking and not fighting. That's a real shame.
The fact is i think mate, that frag was not a puncher at all,and yet cut him up real bad, wlad is a puncher and may well take his head of(to be fair he if he connects could probaly do the same)
As long as Haye dont turn into a U.S. style ghetto ***** I dont mind. He is far wittier than the usual " Im gangsta mother****er, from the street............".
Haye won't win his next fight because the ignorant idiot will go for broke early, gas out and get ko'd inside of ten. I hope he really picks a top ten heavyweight as he promised. I can't see him beating any current top ten.
