Sod it, I was looking forward to going to the O2 and, in my current financial situation, can barely justify a trip to Manchester to see a fight where I'm 99% certain of the outcome. (A big David Haye win.) Changing the subject, slightly, the transformation of David Haye over the last few years has been amazing. When he fought Carl Thompson at Wembely Arena the place was 2/3 empty. He then ended back up at places like Brentford lesiure centre and even when he won the EBU title it was at Brentwood Lesiure centre. Now he can choose the venues he wants and they will sell out. I even believe that, despite what happened last year, a fight between Haye and either Klitschko brother would now sell out Stamford Bridge.
Golden Boy would make a few bob with that card and more. Khan v Maidan would make a lot of sense as the chief support or co-headliner.
Might go to this now, wouldn't have gone if it were at the o2, Manchester's only an hour and half away and I like it up there, if the undercards decent i'll go
Did you miss the Monte Barrett fight?? Where it was over half empty even though tickets were buy one get one free?
I have been to MEN and the O2, for boxing MEN is a better venue for me, the Echo is like to go sometime.
Echo's alright but it's too small, and there facilities around the arena are pretty **** considering that it's a brand new arena
