The same Hart who said that Valuev was the worse Heavyweight Champion in history after Haye beat him but that Haye wouldn't win beforehand?
Ok Claude Abrahams scored it 118-110. But what did YOU score it Ishy ? And I'm still waiting on GazOC's scorecard too. Lee MC - I think your 7 rounds to Haye was too generous.
I dont remember my scorecard but I had it wide for Haye. However I thought hed get jobbed in Germany.
Yes - it seemed Haye had assurances he would get a fair crack in Germany. With Don King pulling the strings I thought he would lose the decsion.
Why is it in Manchester? Have to go to an outpost in Denmark to watch Froch, then no doubt Bolton or some other remote northern city to watch Khanb, now MEN? Why not o2 or the den? Londoners like myself are the ones who have supported him from year zero, do we not get the chance to see him fight in his hometown befroe he goes off to Muncih and Vegas? No doubt he will do what Hatton did and give us all a 'big thank you' against some C rater as his retiring fight a la Lazcano. Cheers Dave.
Cos the o2 is booked for that night and Haye-Ruiz is not a stadium fight. He's fought in London before, it's not as if he's never fought there. Stop whinging you southern fairy
I'll deffo be up for this if it's the MEN. I was ringside to watch Khan get splattered there and it's a pretty good venue but not the cauldron atmosphere of the Ice arena at Nottingham. That place literally bounces when Froch fights. I'll never forget the chant of 7000 fans "you fat *******" to Dirrell's manager when he entered the ring. Welcome to England son!!
Yeah I've got a hatfull of em! Like the time I bumped into Lionel Blair on Lincoln High Street.....Good times
So this is April 3rd on SBO. If they dare put Khan-Maidana which is 2 weeks later on PPV as well, I'll be very pissed off.
Be patient, I'm in work. Sometimes (regrettably) "real life" gets in the way of ESB.... I had Haye by 2 or 3 rounds, fairly close but thats not the point I was making which was a scorer shouldn't let the fact the fight was in germany affect their card, I think Jim Watt let it affect his card. He didn't score it as a boxing pundit, he scored as if he was a judge in Germany and was trying to second guess how they were seeing it rather than just scoring 2 boxers, round by round as he should have.
They won't be stupid enough. Khan fight will probably be normal Sky with his next opponent somewhere on the undercard to help start the hype for their fight which will be PPV.
Ok - sorry for the impatience - I think you having Haye winning it by 2 or 3 rounds - i am very much in agreement with and those who had him winning by 118-110 were seeing a different fight. I agree also - if Jim Watt did try to put himself in the role of "German Judge" then that was a bit silly.
