    i used to stick up for Haye, even after the toe debarcle vs Wlad, and cant understand how anyone would pick Fury to beat him. Haye would flatten Fury without much trouble. BUT its quite clear that he is only after another payday... he has seen the hype behind Froch Groves and decided he wants a piece of that. why else make this announcement 2 days before argubly the biggest fight (in terms of the event) in boxing history.

    Haye vs Povetkin would be brutal. They are realistically no 2 and 3 behind Wlad, they are both well suited to shorter fighters, both have large fan bases, both went 12 with Wlad, one has a super chin and the other a huge puncher. I think stylistically they are perfect for each other, that fight is up there with the fights I'd like to see at Heavyweight.

    Good news. Not many like Haye but I think he's alright. Knew he was making a return, he's been doing a lot of interviews a lot lately.

    His HW record is very poor. Inactivity. Washed-up fighters. Audley.

    He has a legion of loyal fans who rate him higher the more he doesn't fight. He seems to go up in their estimation the less he fights. :lol:
    He failed to turn up for the Fury fight - TWICE - so his fans have credited him with a quick and brutal KO win for that one.
    He says he had a "career ending" :rofl injury, and he's been off 2 years .... so, of course, that makes him not only the premier HW in this country but one of the very best in the world.

    He could have a limb amputated and stay out of the ring for another 5 years ... as long as he mentions a comeback, he'll be the world beater ... in fact if he does it that way he'll probably get rated as the best ever.

    :good He's 76-0 in interviews on this latest comeback. I think he'll get to 100-0 interviews then retire again.

    Fury would have given him a big test, Haye doesn't like fighting big heavy weights...

    :lol::lol:

    Agreed.

    I think his inactivity is going to be the death of him.

    Haye thinks he is the HW version of Floyd, IMHO.

    Complete and utter toss*r.

    Some of the abuse on here for Haye is laughable, some of it by decent posters too. The top and bottom is, yes he is only intersted in big money fights, he doesn't appear to give a fck about legacy granted but so what.... the truth is he absolutely kills fury any day of the week. I can understand people getting upset about his inactivity as it pisses me off also but seriously people trying to ride down his talents because he hasn't beaten x y z and only kidding themselves. Who on here has proof of Haye faking injury ? Someone must because it appears to be common knowledge amongst some of you lot, haye decapitates fury inside 5 fact, and fury knows it he was only pissed off cos it cost him a ?M payday. Last week I saw fury described by ****** as the 'best active heavyweight in britain'...... say no more lolol !

    I have been let down for Haye fights a few times and lost the money on the flights, but I will be glad if he gets back into the ring. He's better than Wilder and Haye, that's for sure.
