question is.. is Sam Peter shot mentally? he had a shred to hold on to after the W.K. because even though Wlad dominated him completely through the whole fight he still had 3 knock-downs and he though it was enough to have won. after V.K on the other hand he's got nothing left to hold on to except that his corner threw in the towel to save him from a public execution. even if Peter HAD a puncher's chance...it's gone now.
aahahaha its true he'd be out cold. but really this is a good fight for Haye (unlike the Barrett fight which was a joke). I mean he should have to beat at least 1 ranked heavyweight before getting the fight with Klitschko.
Haye would outbox him badly,, but I don't think haye can ko sam peter..... Vitali could not put him down or wlad... I said time and time again on here that the McCline fight was a fluke with his ruptured eardrum the vitali fight proved peter has a granite chin
Peter's chin does seem pretty damn solid considering the amount of punishment he absorbed vs Vitali in those 8 rounds.... i am not so sure he would have lasted the last 4 though. He was looking pretty bustedup and getting unsteady.
lol, already trying to make Peter a gatekeeper. Might as well if he isn't going to even attempt to lose the weight. As for who wins the fight, meh, I'm not sure. I still haven't seen the Haye fight against Monte. lol
My heart says yea peter would Ko haye as Peter is my fave boxer,, but my mind knows haye would make peter look stupid with his speed and boxing skills.
A Haye-Peter fight is high risk-high reward for both fighters. Haye is far and away the superior boxer, and with the way Peter plods in with little movement, Peter's only chance would be to land a big punch. If Haye could avoid Peter's punch, he could look MAGNIFICENT against a fighter with some name recognition, tattooing Peter with quick combos. At the same time, if Haye got hit flush, he could go down in humiliating fashion in what would probably be his first fight seen in the US as a heavyweight. Peter, on the other hand, could gain back some of the buzz he had as a fearsome heavyweight puncher if he could knockout Haye, but if he didn't hit him, he'd likely look like a C-class fighter who'd lose even more appeal to heavyweight fight fans.
This he is. BUT any one of those grazing clubbing blows when there in the clinch WILL hurt Haye and will hurt him badly. The only way Haye can beat Peter is if he uses a jab and sets every punch up off the jab. He must keep his left high and keep drilling Peter with a simple 1 2 and he coudl easily KO him in under 5 rounds. Peter is a tin can. BUT the guy is as rough as cheap ***** and if Haye cant keep him on the end of his jab he will get mauled. Personally id like to see Haye vs Skelton first but i dont think theres much money in that bout :yep Or better yet theres always Danny puff pastry Williams.
