Speed, power and the knowledge of knowing he will not get a decision over there, prompts me to think Haye will KO him in 4. If it goes past 8 though Haye is doomed.
I actually think Haye will follow the same strategy as Holyfield, but be slightly more effective and busy, win clearly, by a couple of rounds at least, but only get the SD because of the locale.
Lads what you all have to remember with regards to it going to the judges is that IF Haye wins this, Don King has a 3 fight clause on him. Who's more marketable over in the US for DK ? A quiet spoken ugly Russian (we have two other Russians in control of the division) or a young, brash, good looking, articulate Brit ? I see Haye getting a fair decision on the cards :good
I recken Haye's gonna be squeezed dry like a lemon once this monster leans on him, just can't see David pulling it off & the judges will make sure he don't.
Agreed. I think Haye will try too hard in the beginning and gas himself out like he did against Thompson. Valuev will start leaning on him and stop him in the middle rounds. That's my pick.
I really want Haye to get rid of this giant garbage truck. I have even root for Ruiz when he fought this pile of **** (I know...rooting for Ruiz is ****ed up) but god I hate this hairy monster. Valuev with skill, power and will would be the greatest champ ever but he got nothing, no power, no skill, no will. I f Haye can't kill the beast, I will wait for the next giant slayer to show up.
