This is just rubbish. As for Holy getting stick prior to beating Tyson thats awfully subjective. Holy had been in there with guys like Bowe Mercer and Foreman etc none of whom were small heavys.

Holy's record at heavy doesn't agree with your theory. So far David's had 2 KO's in his current heavy reign. Both opponents were shot.

Smart money says Haye wins this by KO inside of 5. If he doesnt he's going to have problems as we all know how much of a front runner David is.
That said i want Harrison to knock him out. Im tired of David and his premadonna bull****.

Holyfield faced several of the best HW's ever..... most of them were rock solid and seldom got knocked over.

The best HW Haye faced is old Ruiz.

Agree with Scurla on the highlighted bit.

I knew Scurla would speak more sense than the vast majority of people on this forum who think Haye is some kind of inviincible certainty.

You don't need to be as good as Holy or Tyson in this HW era.

    Totally agree.

David Haye is not on the level of them guys - or Riddick Bowe or Lennox Lewis.

Haye is not even on the level of the Kltishckos.

Scurla, Haye punches harder and is far faster....dont even play that game.

But Holyfield is better in the following:

    Starting/ Static strength
    Chin
    Boxing fundamentals
    Will to win

David Haye can do all the weight training he wants, unlike Holyfield and Tyson.

There is something called functional strength, and relative strength. And inside the ring, David Haye can easily be man handled and tied up, rough house tatics.

    He's not a true heavyweight.

Evander Holyfield was by far the better combination puncher than David Haye, David Haye works in 1-2's most of the time.

David reminds me alot of Herbie Hide except he doesnt have Herbies stamina.
Realistically this is Davids to loose. As Audley only has a punchers chance on the basis of Davids chin being quite poor. My bias is leaning heavily towards Harrison because i want to see him KO David. But this doesnt seem that realistic either as Harrison never fights on the front foot and likes to counter. Haye can win this via decision or via KO in the mid to late rounds.

Haye doesn't punch harder than Evander.
