Erm Jean Marc Mormeck was shot by the time Haye got to him, and Haye was close to getting stopped in that one. He beat Enzo who went life and death with Hobson, and Hobson is a very poor fighter. Look at Hobsons career and his fights to see this! You must see the fights, to see how poor Enzo is. The subsequent losses he has had I am not even counting in this also, as I knew before the fight he was going to be taken out quickly. For you to bring up Mormeck and Enzo as great wins just shows how little you know about boxing and I feel very sorry for you. Both wins were at CW. Again Haye has no wins at HW of any merit.
I agree with most of what you are saying but this stuff happens. You see many fighters moving up through the divisions and fighting the champions straight away. Why does Haye get **** for this yet nobody else does?
Haye gets **** only because there are so so so many people on here that are hyping him up like he has already beaten a great champion of 4 years. He is a rightful challenger as he has the financial back up to make this viable for Wlad's cheque, but for so many people to talk about him like he actually has any kind of experience to win the fight annoys me. There are alot of people on this site talking about a sport they know very little about. I wont talk **** about Haye as a fighter, but it is his blind fan boys on here over the last 4 months that are really making me annoyed, who have watched about 5 fights in their lives.
Some people are just haters and won't give a fighter his due no matter who he beats. What about the Fragomeni win?
As I said I give him credit for his career at CW and the Fragomeni win is his best. But this is HW and he has not beaten anyone who is a contender at HW to deserve you to say he KO's Wlad and beats him easy like you have been saying.
Unfortunatly, that is all that matters these days. Im not a fan of people jumping divisions and getting a fight with the champion(s) straight away. I believe they should have to prove themselves first. It is what it is though, and none of us are able to change that. Haye is a good fighter, very good infact and im a huge fan. Logic tells me Wlad takes him out within 6 rounds though. Ignore the fanboys, they are here as a fan of a fighter, not as a fan of boxing.
I hate this boxing elitism. Do you want a sport (that is built on hype & the ability to sell) to survive and attract newcomers or do you want to it to die and be for the purists only? Being angry & patronizing to people who are being attracted to boxing is not helping the sport. Is it?
Haye is unknown is the States and Wlad is known only a little bit. Nobody outside of the UK who is not a hardcore boxing fan knows who David Haye is.
In what way is it a mismatch? i'm guessing you mean Haye is no match for Wvlad? Yeah I remember Lewis vs Tyson and Tyson was ****ed then even, otherwise it would of been a different story, god how I wish Tyson was around now in his prime!! But we have Haye and that means all boxing fans should get behind him!!
in my opinion there is no excuse for Klitschko to lose this fight. He is fighting in his country and is the bigger man and has fought much better competition than Haye has.
Cheers. I'm not sure if i'm going with my heart rather than my head yet but I've grown to appreciate the speed & timing of a good fighter over the last few months & I'm definately in the Haye camp for this one. The strategy won't be the quick KO that people think Haye is gonna go for but it will be a KO.
For me it's Setanta's fault they are absolute **** at promoting and in my opinion the production of the channel looks very cheap.Plus I heard this is Hayes last fight with Setanta hopefully this is true as Sky would make him a household name and would be a genuine box office fighter but he has to beat Wlad first.
