they must secure a venue first though. imo, haye and arreola are about even as hws at this point. til one of them comes up with a solid wins, i can't elevate either into the top 10. people can say haye has a more difficult style for him if they like but i still feell a pressure fighter with a rock solid chin and big punch is a problematic style for wlad. Arreola doens't look to have the chin but he pressures and can punch well. Haye is a natural counter-punchers who likes to pick his spots and retreat. it's just assumption at this point cause haye and arreola haven't been in there with any quality hws. i really question's haye's hw stamina too. i think wlad dominates both. povetkin will be much tougher imo. he is very skilled inside, tough and active...but he doens't have the power and defense to close the deal imo
I see what your saying, but Arreola is much easier to hit than Haye, who seems to have very good reflexes from what I seen. Haye also has a great combination of hand speed and power, and we all remember what happend the last time Wlad faced a guy with those same attributes? Corrie Sanders anyone.:yep
I think we all do already, for precisely the same reasons we hope Klitschko doesn't fight Arreola, he's a fat talentless bum. Why doesn't Wlad fight Butterbean instead? He's a little older sure but he's more experienced, has beaten better competition, a better boxer and is even ever so slightly fatter.
Thats not what was said. Negotiations are stopped, but not off. Until Haye can be more professional as Wlad deems it to be, then the fight is on for sure. Its just in limbo atm. Haye has so long to do so, though, else Wlad will take on Arreola.
Are you crazy.... Haye would eat Arreola up like all them Burrito's chris has been munching. He weighed in at 257lbs for his last fight and has yet to fight a boxer better than domestic class. Do you really think he could deal with Haye's speed and movement
there is no doubt haye would land early and often. however, if Arreola survives it, things become intersting cause Haye's hw stamina will be really tested for the first time. He looked pretty wreckless and loose late in the barrett fight too and Arreola has haevy hands and decent inside skills. Barrett was shopworn and he survived 5 rounds....and monte never had a real solid chin. I'd favor Haye but not heavily.
**** man, give us a break. GOD YOU WONDER WHY THIS CAUSE INSULTS. Valuev one of the best heavy EVER......:yikes. Take your fix, relax, and watch Valuev vs Holy or Valuez vs Ruiz, or Valuev vs Ruslan and tell me if you really that this lazy behemot is one of the best ever. He was not even able to knock JF Bergeron and has taken 11 long round to knock Barrett.
I mean what is the sense of negotiate with some delusional guys for several month, if there are opportunities getting a similar money-deal with Arreola. Klitschko can fight Arreola in his hometown LA (like he would fight David Hide in London, a big concession for a voluntary defense if you ask me) and Staples Center will be filled properly. There is a good market for an unbeaten Powerpuncher like Arreola with mexican background and i am sure he would appreciate the honor to get an immediate shot at the man to beat.. Meanwhile Herbie can fight his way to a mandatory spot in the IBF or WBO rankings, i f he doesnt get KTFO by Dimitrenko or Povetkin or someone else.
exactly..i never understood why wlad would give haye a chance, when arreola is the one that deserves it...
Who in their right mind would want to see Arreola fight Wladimir right now? No offense, Freddy, but the guy is not prepared to fight Klitschko. If you have any desire to see him succeed you should want to see him in the gym and improve against other good fighters.
