My take is very simple. Wlad tries to set him up for a one-two, Haye connects with a bomb and Wlad starts to move strangely to the sides, letting the clock run out and boxing for a points victory.
I still believe Haye will be shocked by how hard and fast Wlads punches are.I wouldn't be surprised if Haye was shaken by a stiff jab. I agree that Hayes best chance is to go for broke right from the off,but then there is the chance he could walk onto something trying to get inside,or just be smothered and tire quickly. The Valuev routine won't work with Wlad,he's too well schooled,he'd just hold the centre of the ring throwing the jab,whilst Haye danced himself to a standstill trying to find a way in without getting hit. I really don't think this will be an explosive fight,both will be wary in the early rounds,but i see Wlad getting into his well rehearsed routine by the 4th or 5th round,and stopping Haye by TKO in the later rounds.
I voted for Wlad tko & Wlad pts because I feel those are the likely scenarios. Anything can happen but I expect Klitschko to be too big AND good a boxer for Haye... & I hope Im right because Haye is a *****.
I was there for the Sanders fight. Sanders moved very smoothly through the ring. That was a lazy stop jab that Wlad through. and Sanders had a wonderful side step...and was left handed.... Wlad admitted to being stupid arrogant after the fight. I don't think he even trained much with a left handed sparing partner. A hay maker is the slowest punch one can throw. It don't matter that he throws "a quick hay maker" or not....it is telegraphed. Hello Dr. Klitchko I am now going to throw a wide right hand. Not a quick cross...nope...a nice wide haymaker.... Wlad does have a nice long classic left hook, that he has used on occasion. He's got a nice short hook too. A nice straight left works too, on a wide right handed hay maker. I do expect it to go ten or 11 rounds.... Haye will run, and run, and run some more...all the time jabbering with his mouth and making Bo Jangles dance steps out side the reach of Wlad. Expect Haye to be late in the ring....hoping on a mind game.
